Walking in the rain in Porto.. - It was our first day in Portugal, May 4, 2024, and we were scheduled for our city walking tour. Despite the fact it was pouring rain in Porto, we donned our raincoats and went on our way with our guide, Ricardo. He took us through the city and explained the history as we went. Our first gastronomical stop was at Restaurant Casa Do Carmo where we enjoyed our first codfish cakes, a delicious charcuterie board, and our first green wine. One of several we would have throughout the trip. After some more walking in the rain, through beautiful parks, and views of the Duoro river, and sharing his knowledge of the city and it's history, Ricardo took us to Casa Guedes. Here we had a delicious traditional pork sandwich w/cheese (Sandes de Pernil Com Queijo de Ovelha) After leaving, the sun was finally coming out and we made our final gastronomical stop for espresso and the famous Pasteis de Nata at Manteigaria. What an informative and delicious tour despite the rain! Thank you Ricardo for making getting soaked so worthwhile!

Porto walking and river cruise tour - My wife and I went on a half day walking and river cruise tour (no food tasting) of Porto. Our guide, Raquel, was very knowledgable and very courteous. It was not a very good day for a walking tour as it was a rainy day, but Raquel, ignoring the rain, patiently told us about the history of all the places we visited, and took us through very interesting back alleys tour. Overall, we were very happy with the tour and service Raquel provided, and appreciated her vast knowledge of Porto and Portugal. Thank you for a memorable walking tour.

We love carlota 💕 - Carlota was so fun, smart & knowledgeable. Our first 4 hours in porto were spent with her and it helped so much to get a feel for the city and it’s history, try some traditional food, and laugh a little together as well. She was able to accommodate my gluten allergy which was awesome. Highly recommend!
