Very pleasant experience. - It was a very pleasant experience. João is an excellent host, he welcomed us with details that made all the difference to dinner. Portuguese appetizers and own recipes were also served. Dinner had a mix of flavors from Pará with Portuguese memories and the dessert was divine. Your apartment is very cozy and I thought it was a great option to include on a trip to Porto.

João Inácio is an incredible person, he added a lot of knowledge, talks about very interesting subjects, in addition to being very careful with food and concerned about the well-being of those he welcomes into his home. Impeccable food, very tasteful decoration, in short, more than perfect. I definitely recommend it and will repeat the experience!

Excellent experience - Joao was a wonderful host. His place was warm and inviting. For an appetizer we had cheeses, meats, breads with toppings and the bread that he made himself was great. The entree, a shrimp and rice dish was one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. The dessert was a pineapple, coconut and tapioca white chocolate concoction that melted in your mouth. There was red or white wine, depending on what you preferred. There were 5 of us and English was a second language for 3 but it never impacted the conversations. We left feeling like we made 3 new incredible friends. I’d give it more than 5 stars if it was an option.

Amazing dinner in Porto! - João is an amazing host! I’m a vegetarian, and he prepared a special version of a tradicional dish, so I could experiencie the dinner at the same level as everybody else. Food is great, including the special desert, which was made using only local and special ingredients. The whole experience was amazing, as João and his friends would make me feel welcome and included. Higly recommend it!
