Educational and exciting - Excellent tour with Ricardo Andrade as guide. Such an enthusiastic, warm and knowledgeable man. I learned a lot about the Jews of Porto and the history of Jewish life in Portugal and many locations in Porto now have new significance for me. Fantastic tour. Highly recommend.

He had great anecdotes and made us laugh a lot while talking about a serious subject. We were amazed at how much he knew and did not want the tour to be over!!

Vanessa was very knowledgeable about the history of the Jewish people in Portugal and was able to answer all of our questions. She also intertwined Portuguese cultural traditions that originated from Jewish culture, and was able to talk about the Jewish community of Porto in present day. She guided us through former Jewish areas of Porto, areas we certainly would never have realized were there. A very nice tour with a wonderful guide - I found the tour to be very informative. Our guide, Anna, brought the history to life. She was a wealth of knowledge and was very personable. Because this was off-season we were the only people on the tour. We did a lot of walking and some details that you will not see or recognize on your own.
