Fabulous day! - Our tour guide Joao (Ennetours) was fantastic, very professional, explained everything really clearly, the whole day was well organised. Joao was so knowledgeable about the area and knew a great deal on Portuguese history, really enjoyed listening to it and learning bits I never knew! Crossing the suspension bridge was a fun experience, and the walkway had some incredible views of the river and gorge. Lunch in Arouca was delicious, good hearty meal with green wine! Followed by sweet treats and a coffee or beer! Definitely recommend it, fabulous day, thank you Joao

Wind, Rain, Adventure, Beauty! - First, let me say that our tour guide was excellent!! He provided us with interesting and meaningful commentary, but he also took very good care of us! The journey to the walkways was very scenic and enjoyable! It was a windy, rainy day...but that only added to the adventure! After the hike we visited a wonderful restaurant for lunch and wine, all included, and then visited a bake shop for treats and coffee. The monestary we visited was incredible. The hike was just challenging enough for this older woman. It was a wonderful way to see the beauty of Portugal away from the cities.

Bridge to be booked - Descent to the spectacular gorge - We couldn't go up the suspension bridge because it has to be booked in advance on the Internet, although apparently it wasn't crowded at all when we passed by it. There are also reservations for the catwalks. The route of the latter from the refreshment/car parking point requires, calmly and with a stop of about twenty minutes, about 4 hours. At the bottom there are taxis waiting to take tourists back to their departure point. The descent into the gorge is especially spectacular. At the start and also along the route it is possible to swim in the river. The water is warm, clean and calm.

Walking Bridges with Children - Great way to experience Portugal‘s beautiful countryside. I took my 4 children with me (ages 9 to 16). Our guide was great with them. He would check in with us and the others on the tour because of the heat and distance. Could not have asked for a better time. And the food we got to experience was amazing!!!

Nice excursion through the Arouca area - Everything was very good, Ricardo is an excellent guide, always making sure everything goes well and told us many details and anecdotes during our trip. The experience is highly recommended, although the walk in August is a bit long due to the heat.

Excellent experience! Guide was phenomenal! Worth the price twicefold! - We had an amazing day! The trek was beautiful, the views were amazing! The hang bridge was an experience I will forever cherish! But most importantly, our Guide, Ricardo was the most genuine and adorable man I have ever met! He was so polite and really treasured his work, I have never met someone as excited, humble and passionate about their work ever! He solely made the trip worth the payment which already felt cheap. Especially considering that the lunch that was included was a visit at a proper restaurant for a classical Portuguese family style lunch! So the experience deserves 10/10 and Ricardo as a guide makes the trip 12/10! Amazing! Thank you Ricardo and Ennetours for an amazing full day of excitement!
