Our starting point is in the antique zone of Porto, facing the Palácio da Bolsa (the ancient Stock Exchange); an awe-inspiring edifice built in 1834 that is indeed a sight worth beholding. From there, we commence our exploration of the narrow, winding streets of Porto aboard Peter’s Beetle, boasting splendid architecture and landmarks all through, where I’ll recount their intriguing stories. Later, we’ll traverse the Douro river via the Luis I bridge, leading us to Vila Nova de Gaia, renowned for its renowned Port wine cellars. An exclusive viewpoint offering a dramatic panorama of the Douro river and Porto is an intended stop. Upon discovering the heart of Porto, we’ll take a leisurely drive along the Douro river, ending at the Atlantic where you can breathe in the ocean air and marvel at the stunning beaches.
