We will start the day with pick-up at the client’s hotel. We will start the tour in Coimbra, a historic and culturally rich city. We will visit the imposing campus of the University of Coimbra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Joanina Library. We will explore the historic center, with its narrow streets. The Sé Velha and the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha are also unmissable spots. As a lunch suggestion, we suggest visiting the best restaurants to try the famous Leitão á Bairrada (optional). If you don’t like this delicacy, you can choose to have lunch in Coimbra or Aveiro. Once in Aveiro, known as the “Venice of Portugal” due to its picturesque canals and unique architecture, we will start in the historic center, exploring the moliceiro canals (optional boat trip), Mercado do Peixe, Igreja da Misericórdia and the Art Nouveau buildings. We recommend that you don’t miss the famous soft eggs. We will return to the hotel after a day full of emotions.
