A day Belmonte - Roza did a great job directing the trip. Roza knows so much about the Belmonte’s history and about crypto-Jewish history if the area.
It was a two and a half hour trip back and forth from Porto and it was the wonderful.

Fantastic Belmonte tour with Roza - Roza led and arranged a fantastic tour. We visited Belmonte, a city with crypto Jews hidden since the inquisition in the 1500s. In addition to skillfully driving us the 2 1/2 hours from Porto, she introduced us to a descendant, we toured the Jewish museum, the synagogue and the castle, and then returned us to Porto with a couple more surprise sites. All in all, a wonderful day.
