Great day to Santiago de Compostela - We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Santiago de Compostela. Our guide, Paulo was excellent, very knowledgeable, easy going and willing to answer any questions. We enjoyed three hours free time in Santiago de Compostela, the cathedral visit is a must, we had a look around the town and park and found a super spot for lunch. On the way back to Porto we visited Fortaleza de Valença and spent 45 minutes looking around the fortress, very interesting to see. Our journey back to Porto was quick and Paulo kindly dropped us off near where we were staying as it was raining. In summary a very enjoyable day and our guide Paulo is highly recommended by us.

Many great experiences in one day - Thank you to our guide ANDRE VYDAL and our driver JONAS for the 10+ hour tour! It was an unexpected blessing to be able to visit Santiago from Porto, and it was a valuable experience. We were well taken care of during breaks, and we enjoyed ourselves at the cafe. Not only Santiago, but the fortress of Valença was also wonderful, and it was good to learn about new sights. At the end of the tour, we passed along the Douro River, so there was even more to see, and I want to book the next tour.

An excellent day ! - Expertly driven by Goncalo to the wonderful city of Santiago de Compostela passing through the Green Valley en route. We heard many legends and stories of the different regions as we drove along. All the descriptions en route were great. We were guided by Goncalo to the very centre of the square opposite the cathedral. Santiago de Compostela is well worth a visit and we were not disappointed by its magnificent architecture and history. The cathedral tour was provided by a Spanish guide due to restrictions of Portuguese nationals working as guides in Spain. Goncalo met up with us and joined us post tour. He was most attentive and courteous and a credit to Living Tours.

Santiago Compestella was Majestic! - Our guide Paul and Manuel our driver were great! They handled the whole bus breaking down with calm and professionalism. I felt bad for them to work for company who do ensure the safety of your employees and customers. What if there is a more severe issue that our driver was not able to fix while he was driving? It’s astonishing that you do not ensure the bus meets all the safety standards before allowing it to go on the road with 24 people. It’s too bad we missed the mass at the Santiago de Compestella Cathedral due to the bus breaking down. That’s why I gave it 4 stars. The lunch was delicious from the starter to the dessert! Great tour!
