Spectacular views, pleasant rooms, romantic and quiet - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here not only because of the spectacular views but also because of the convenience to other places we wanted to visit. After day trips we returned to our comfortable room and enjoyed a lovely dinner. Breakfast included Portuguese breads, fruit, eggs, bacon and mushrooms and juices and coffee.

The agency had the flexibility to rework the tour for the two of us, so that we were picked up in Porto, and left at out next hotel in Santiago. This aspect worked very well for us. However, our hotel was at the fringe of the no cars central district and the agency had not provided the driver proper directions or GPS to get there efficiently. The last mile took close to an hour, as we circled the central district, looking for the road the hotel was on. It would have been even longer if it were not for my smart phone GPS, Google Maps, and finally a long cell phone call, from my phone, to the hotel. I don't fault the driver, I think the agency should have had him better prepared.</p>
