On land in the footsteps of seafarers - We were picked up by a very friendly and well informed guide with adorable dog in a (not quite so) modern VW bus. The tour was in English and we had to translate for our children (4 & 8) simultaneously - but that worked well and the two had fun. For the child seat it is necessary to give advance notice and to have the availability confirmed. The tour was entertaining, rich in information and insights. Matias suggested very vividly how which ships must have landed when and where, with which tactics Portuguese faced dangers and he could answer all our questions. The whole trip was amusing and entertaining. Afterwards we did the Porto Santo Kayak Tours with the same guide+dog along the coast.

Excellent. - Excellent visit to the island of Porto Santo with the tourist guide Matias who in addition to giving us to know the views, teaches us a lot about the history of the island and as if that was not enough is still an Excel photographer, which is great for those travelling alone. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Take this tour to enhance your stay - This was a really interesting tour, a mixture of history, geology and breathtaking views. Our guide was excellent, both in his knowledge and sometimes humorous delivery and we were able to see and learn much to enhance our stay on the island. Unfortunately my husband was feeling unwell and could not fully appreciate everything we saw but agrees with me that the island is fascinating and stunning and our guide was top notch.

A great island tour - Great trip recently with Mike. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A great way to see and find out more about Porto Santo. Very glad we swoon the tour.

Magnificent tour - We loved the tour of Porto Santo. Without a doubt the best tour we could have chosen. The trip was incredible, and it allowed us to see places that more commercial tours certainly don't reach due to access. For those who really want to get to know Porto Santo, this is the tour to take. The guide is a person who is extremely passionate about what he does and you can feel that passion when he tells us about the history of the island.

Trip Out - This was a lovely trip, very informative and taking in beautiful views. We thoroughly recommend it to visitors to Porto Santo.

Watch out for last minute cancellations - Too bad we can't give zero stars. Reading the reviews, it was a good experience, too bad that we were notified 1 hour and a half before that they had canceled our reservation without providing any explanation, despite the fact that until the day before the activity was still available. A real disappointment, if we had been warned earlier, we would have booked something else...

Missed it - Sadly we did not get to experience this trip due to a big misunderstanding. It was booked from a Viator ad which appeared to be related to San Sebastián. As we are from the US we did not understand the geography of northern Spain The day before travel it became clear that we were far far away from an enticing experience. My mistake but Viator not helpful and I have booked many tours with them. Not the tour providers fault Diane
