Additional Information

Let’s set sail towards Ischia. After approximately an hour and a half of sailing, you’ll arrive at the island, greeted by the charming views of the Aragonese Castle, a symbol of the island and its rich historical past.

Ischia is larger than Capri, so exploring the entire island in a single day isn’t feasible. However, you can take a short tour through some of its six towns. We recommend visiting the Giardini della Mortella, one of Italy’s most significant botanical gardens, boasting over 1,000 rare exotic plants. From Ischia Porto, you can also enjoy a pleasant walk to the Castle and marvel at its stunning beauty.

How about taking a break at a thermal complex? Ischia sits atop an ancient magmatic chamber, causing natural hot water springs to flow from the ground. In places like Sorgeto Bay, you can experience the warm water blending with the sea. Every year, many people visit for therapeutic sessions.

If you’re looking for a sign to book this trip, this is your sign! - My husband and I took an amazing private tour today with the most incredible captain, Giovanni! Before we even began, Chiara at the office was in communication with us via WhatsApp confirming we were all set. Then captain Giovanni was also in touch with us early in the morning communicating clearly and sent pictures of the boat and himself so we knew what to look for- which is a huge help in a busy and hectic port! From the moment we began, the boat (sparviero 700) was beautiful and so comfortable, and our captain was incredibly skilled. Giovanni also speaks perfect English and was able to have conversations with us beyond the topography and history of the area. We made all the best stops, seeing the red grotto, white grotto, green grotto, and so many other sights I can’t even remember their names! We stopped in Capri for lunch for the most picturesque views and delicious fresh fish. Our captain Giovanni called ahead for us and made the reservation, which was super thoughtful and helpful. Our server Carlo was also next level! So kind and warm, really made us feel at home. Giovanni offered us snacks, cold bottled water, and played some fantastic music, right from the start- a couple hours into the trip, he opened the Prosecco and served it in a really cool, handmade ice bucket and wineglass holder. We also got to taste his mom’s delicious homemade Limoncello! We went swimming in the crystal clear sea, Giovanni navigated us into the smallest and coolest caves to see the best sights, and even had a hose of fresh water to rinse off after swimming in the salt water. Multiple times we had to check that we weren’t dreaming! I kept thinking- this CANT be real?! It’s the highlight of our vacation (we’re already a week in, and have done other amazing things!) and pretty sure this can’t be topped. If you’re looking for a sign to book this trip, BOOK THIS TRIP! We felt like the luckiest people in the world!

Boat Tour to Positano and Nerano - Enzo was a great captain! He was very nice and made the experience very fun! He was very attentive to anything we needed. We departed from Sorrento and boated to Positano, stopping at a beautiful cave on the way. After Positano, we went to Nerano for lunch where we ate at a beautiful restaurant on the water. We also had time to swim in the beautiful water of Nerano. Could not recommend more for a boat tour!
