Additional Information

After meeting the guide at the exit of the Pozzuoli metro station, the tour will commence, exploring the Archaeological Park of the Campi Flegrei and the historic center of Pozzuoli. You will visit the vast Flavian Amphitheater, which is only smaller than the Colosseum in Rome and the Capuan Amphitheater in Italy. By touring this enormous amphitheater, you will understand why its construction took so long… The tour will then proceed to the historic center of Pozzuoli, unveiling its oldest secrets! We will arrive at the Macellum of Pozzuoli, the public market of the Roman Puteoli, where you will learn why it was called the Temple of Serapis. Who visited the market? What was the connection between this place and the phenomenon of bradyseism? We will answer these and many other questions! Finally, we will admire the stunning seafront of Pozzuoli with its expansive sea views. After 3 hours of uncovering the history of Pozzuoli, we will conclude the tour of this captivating place.

Better than Pompeii - You definitely have to see it, it is not crowded and parking is not a problem, the fields are mostly closed so you should drive up the hill and look from above
