  • F547+PW Guaqui - Early in the morning, we start our trip to Tiwanaku. Ensure you have your binoculars, camera, and appropriate bird-watching clothing.

Once we arrive at Tiwanaku we will take a dirt road until we reach the community of Humamarca on the shores of Lake Titicaca, this area is administered by the community members.

Some of the community members will receive us.

From that place, we will start our activity accompanied by beautiful views of Lake Titicaca and some Andes mountains. During this part of the tour, our guide will teach us additional birding techniques and share local bird stories.

We will take a local boat to get close to some specimens and arrive at an observation area explicitly developed for our birding activity.

At the end of the activity, we prepare to say goodbye to this exclusive area of Lake Titicaca and our return to the city of La Paz.

Itinerary:

6:30 am: Departure from La Paz
We will meet at the agreed meeting point in La Paz. Make sure you have your binoculars, camera, and appropriate clothing for bird watching.

8:30 a.m.: Arrival in Humahuaca

9:30 am - 12:30 pm: Morning Exploration

12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Lunch

1:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Afternoon Exploration
During this part of the tour, our guide will teach us additional birding techniques and share local bird stories.

4:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Return to La Paz
