Accra - Arrive in Accra, Ghana. You will be met at the airport by Landtours representatives at the arrival hall with the lead traveler’s name displayed on a signboard and will assist you with your transfer from the airport to your hotel. Quad Biking, Volta Lake Cruise and Afrofuture Day 1

Shai Hills Resource Reserve - Explore the breathtaking Shai Hills Game Reserve on a scenic drive followed by an adrenaline spiking 60-minute quad biking adventure through Shai Hills, where you might encounter notable game like antelope, bushbucks, kobs, baboons, and monkeys, as well as various bird species, including the crested eagle. Delve into the Obonu Tem and Se Yo caves, home to diverse wildlife including a colony of bats. The bravest can venture into the caves, explore the hill’s peak, once the ancestral home of the Shai people’s king until the late 19th century.

Day at Leisure at Kokrobite Beach

Kokrobite Beach - After breakfast, depart your hotel to Kokrobite Beach, spend this day at leisure relaxing on the shores, swimming in the ocean and trying out water sports like surfing and many more.

Kakum National Park and Cape Coast Castle

Kakum National Park - Explore the Kakum National Park, one of West Africa’s surviving tropical rain forests. Choose between a 2 km nature walk through the rain forest to discover the wide variety of exotic flora and fauna species and the medicinal values they offer or take a walk on the canopy walkway hanging 40 meters above the forest ground.

Cape Coast Castle - Journey through the Cape Coast Castle built by the Swedes in 1653 where you would learn about the horrors and conditions enslaved Africans encountered on their journey to the New World during trans-Atlantic slave trade. Walk through the Door of No Return, stand in the slave dungeons and travel through time.

Aburi Botanical Gardens - Rest of Day at Leisure

Aburi Botanical Gardens - Depart to the serene Aburi Botanical Gardens which was created in 1890 for pleasure and scientific research; it is a habitat for plants and butterflies from all around the world. Aburi’s attractive features have been made easier to view with recent additions of rental bicycles for tours on the mountain.

Farewell and Departure
