Home to approximately 90,000 people, Prizren serves as a living museum and is acknowledged as one of the most scenic towns in Kosova. The city’s existence goes back to the Roman period, being named Theranda in the 2nd century A.D., and later referred to as Petrizên by Procopius of Caesarea in the 5th century A.D. Among all cities in Kosova, Prizren retains the best representation of its historical architecture.
