A Warm Welcome to the Underwater World

As a marine biologist, I’ve always been captivated by the mysteries of the ocean. My recent trip to Protaras, Cyprus, was no exception. I had heard about the Protaras Diving School and its reputation for providing a family-friendly diving experience. The school, nestled right on the beautiful Green Bay beach, promised an adventure that I couldn’t resist.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by a team of enthusiastic instructors who immediately made me feel at home. The atmosphere was light and friendly, yet there was an underlying seriousness when it came to safety and education. This balance was comforting, especially for someone like me who values both the thrill of exploration and the importance of safety.

The introduction dive was a perfect start. After a thorough briefing on the fundamentals of scuba diving, we geared up and took just a couple of steps into the water. The proximity of the diving area to the center was incredibly convenient, allowing us to dive right in without any delay. The underwater world was mesmerizing, and I found myself falling in love with diving all over again.

The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the Open Water Diver certification. The training was comprehensive, and the instructors were patient and knowledgeable. They answered every question with clarity, ensuring that I felt confident and prepared for each dive.

Many of the instructors speak Swedish, which is a great advantage for families traveling from Sweden or other Scandinavian countries.
