Once you’ve built up an appetite, a meze-style lunch will be served in a village taverna. Then, we’ll head to a beautiful forest waterfall with ice-cold water cascading down 20m. What a lovely jeep safari - The whole day was fun, leaving our hotel on time on our Jeep for the day was just the start of a great trip. Our driver Louie, an English Cypriot ex pat from London was very knowledgable, very informative and very funny. Our trip took in amazing views as well as wonderfully old villages in imacculate condition, locals are clearly very proud of where they live. Lunch was amazing and the restaurant top class. Would highly recommend this trip as there is not too much walking required in the hot sunshine.

We laughed and learnt a lot - Fantastic tour with George Michael (and yes he's a huge fan and there was a sing along!), he was funny and really knowledgeable. Not a huge amount for vegetarians for lunch but the meat eaters in group said how lovely it was. Enjoyed the wine tasting. Some of the roads up the mountains were quite narrow and a bit hairy but the views were worth it. The only slight negative was how cramped the Land Rover was with 10 people, luckily it wasn't a hot day but would imagine without air it could be uncomfortable. I would have preferred to pay a little more with less people.

An exceptional cyprus experience of beauty and laughter - An exceptional experience!! George Michael and Vernon the jeep tour guides are super friendly and so accommodating to all! Whilst we all were from different countries George kept us laughing, encouraged good conversation between us and even got us to sing together!! It was fab! The tour stops are well worth it, every scenery viewed such as the mountains, waterfall was phenomenal, and whilst some of the journey is off road, George ensured all were safe and okay. The lunch and limitless wine was brilliant! And the winery was a beautiful experience!! George was very informative and helped us to understand the history of cyprus. Myself and my partner had a fantastic time and would highly recommend to all!!

A worth while tour - A good tour taking us to places we wouldn’t have seen on our own. Perhaps the jeep should have two less people to give us a bit more room to be comfortable? Lunch was great as was the wine tasting.

Great way to spend a full day - Had a brilliant trip of the mountains and villages .. Tasos and the other drivers were fun and informative…. They made a point of including everyone and encouraging us to swap seats in the jeep so we get different perspectives. Only downside was the lunch venue .. we had informed them of our vegetarian requirements in advance but they didn’t cater for our needs and even refused to give us an extra portion of chips which not a big ask considering three big plates of meat dishes were presented to the rest of our group. Putting that aside .. the jeep safari was a memorable experience and highly recommended.

Liked the places visited but a lot of travelling - Really enjoyed the places visited but the journey to and from was to far from Protaros. Tour guide was okay but not as as good as past experiences of tour guides

Long journey in an uncomfortable jeep - We were picked up by our guide in the jeep. Guide was friendly. At first it seemed cool to be in the jeep but you’re in this confined space for eight hours so it is a bit stifling and oppressive. We were fortunate that three people had dropped out so we had more room. It fits 10 not including the driver. It gets very hot as no air con. Windows open but it’s noisy when you go on the motorway. It’s a long journey for a fairly average view of a waterfall. Stop off points weren’t long enough for what you’ve paid and for the journey time (we travelled from Protaras). Probably a nice trip if you’re staying closer but I wouldn’t do it again if I was travelling that distance. The jeep could just cover the odd road part and a coach cover the motorway. We were stopped off at a wine tour which made it interesting but it would have been nice to have seen the actual vineyards. Lunch was nice but again no vegetarian options but a pretty venue.
