Go here! - Me and a friend got there 30 minutes early, we called the number on the door as SAIO was not open yet. They came in less than 10 minutes to let us in and start the tour. The wine was excellent and the food was delish. Super accommodating and nice, had a great time for a great price.

They came to let us in less than 10 minutes later and were super accommodating! The wines were excellent and the aperitifs were delish!! It was raining so we couldn’t do the walks, even so it was a great visit. For the price it was a ton of food and drinks, would recommend!

Stunning landscape and perfect tasting - Among the options provided by the smartbox, the walk through the vineyards convinced us to book this experience. At sunset it is a real spectacle. The owners conducted the tasting of the wines they produce in a very kind and professional way, explaining in depth everything we were drinking and eating.

Wonderful - After a morning in Assisi, we made a quick stop for a late lunch and tasting. The food was delicious! Charcuterie, lentils, and porchetta. We were stuffed! Wine accompanied each course. i shipped two cases back to the US. Staff was friendly. Clean bathroom. Smartly designed tasting room.

Wine tasting and a view - Our guide asked who was interested in doing a wine tasting and almost everyone’s hand popped up. At Saio we walked through the vineyards on our own, reading signs labeling the types of grapes along the scenic way. We got to a pavilion with picnic tables where we received our wine tasting and food with a magnificent view of Assisi in the background.

Inspired to Start a Winery - We had a very pleasant experience here. I'm afraid I cannot remember her name other than it began with an M, but she was one of the daughters of the proprietor of the land and the winery and what a pleasant host she was indeed. Very informative, a small taste of all the wines and an insight into the business, this was indeed a must experience if you are staying in Assisi. After your wine tasting and short education on the wines, you are allowed to walk through about a kilometer or so to a beautiful spot over looking the town of Saint Francis. Here you are given a generous platter of cheese and cured meats and fine Italian bread and olive oil. Very Much worth the trip. Beware however if you are walking be prepared to walk on the road or organize a good taxi there and back, although the walk back is more suitable as it is a little closer but you will still have to walk along country roads, but with beautiful views.

Wine Tasting in Assisi - Highly recommend. Enjoyed leisurely wine tasting with local meets and cheeses with Agnese. She was delightful and friendly. Group walked through the vineyard for a breathtaking view of Assisi. Ordered 2 cases of wine which arrived back in USA quickly. Driver stopped in sunflower fields for another amazing photo opportunity.

Wine tasting in Saio - Great experiance. It was informative and great wine and olive oil. We had a nice walk in the family vinyard with some explanation.
