A fun challenge - Christian was an excellent guide. Our backpacks were all ready to go when we arrived. We were supplied with an assortment of clothing including trousers, jacket and gloves. The whole experience was amazing, especially sliding down at the end. Was nice and challenging going up and Christian made sure we all got up together and in good time.

Villarrica volcano ascent - Ermitaño expeditions is an excellent agency, during the trip they explained techniques, safety and tips to maintain our energy and better performance despite not having much experience, you feel accompanied and supported, motivation that takes you to any summit, to all the guides my gratitude and especially to Sebastián whose support and motivation was essential, he explained to us the flora and fauna of the place, the history of the volcano and the city of Pucon, making the trip enjoyable and a lot of learning. Thank you because my birthday was great, even better than I expected.. thank you 😊

An unmissable tour for anyone going to Pucon - Our guide, Sebastian, was very helpful from the beginning to the end of the tour. The ride is sensational, beautiful landscapes, a lot of physical effort and tremendous satisfaction when you get to the top.

Awesome - Great organization, the guides spoke a lot of languages and explained everything very clearly in each of them. The walk was really nice and pleasant, the view magical and for a first introduction to mountaineering it was perfect. The team was really great, good understanding in the group and the little drink offered at the end allowed us to make friends too!

Awesome day! - The route was phenomenal, and the organization of the group was excellent. Despite the natural effort to ascend, somehow we felt very good with the tips and professional support of the guides who at all times supported every situation that could be classified as risky. I also appreciate the local stories and certain names of native species (type edible berries) which enrich the route taken that day. Finally, a little adrenaline on the way down was also well received on this “adventure” route to the most active volcano in Latin America! . Thanks to the excellent support received from the team in charge, it was possible to enjoy that day in a safety and friendship environment. Thanks a million!

Great, very professional agency. Home in French - Very nice excursion. Serious agency with several guides to accompany walkers at different paces. Quality equipment provided (shoes, crampons, bag etc.). Nice atmosphere. Sledding down the few remaining snowfields in March. I also did the excursion to the Quetrupillán volcano with this agency and I recommend it.

Awesome Day - We did the Villarrica Volcano ascent with Ermintaño Expediciones and had a perfect experience. The equipment was well-maintained, the trip was very organized and punctual, and the guides were so knowledgable, kind and fun to be around. Sebastian in particular was a standout guide for us - he made sure we had an all around great experience. 100% would recommend!

Ermitano Expedicciones .... Simply Amazing Villarrica Volcano Accent. - We did the Villarrica accent over Easter. We were fortunate enough to have nice weather, given how changeable it is from one day to the next. I read some reviews beforehand, that said it was quite challenging, but we didn't find it to be difficult, and we're in our sixties. It's about a 17km round trip. I liked the variation and different challenges, from uphill hiking, with volcanic rock all around, to putting on crampons and other protective gear, to the ice climbing, to sledding down the snow. (We were at the end of the season, so not as much snow as earlier on); then finally the walk back to the start, which is on a different route as the one we came up, so much faster. I wished I'd brought sandals for the walk back though, because I had a sore big toe, (from our 20km San Sebastian hike 2 days earlier), and the hard boots restricted my ability to walk downhill, without feeling the pain. The ground was too rocky to walk without footwear unfortunately, so I was a bit slow getting back. Marika and Christian from Ermitano Expedicciones do an amazing job in co-ordinating everything. We did 4 activities with them and all the guides were amazing, the excursions were awesome, they were always on time, the prices were very fair, and the memories will last forever. They take photos and videos for everyone along the way, then send them to you afterwards, without charge ... exceptional! If you have a sense of adventure, and want to challenge yourself, the fantastic team at Ermitano will encourage you, and take care of you all the way. And you'll have lots of beautiful memories, of your adventures in beautiful Pucon, Chile.

Best Tour Ever! - Wow! This was an absolutely incredible experience. As we began our sunrise assent to the top of Villarica, my expectations were high but little did I know what this powerful beauty had in store for us. At every stop we took a moment to enjoy the stunning views. Climbing the snowy peaks and getting to sled down was definitely a highlight. Our guide, Sebastian, was phenomenal! Could not have done it without him. All the guides, Marike, Sebastian and Barbara were extremely helpful, patient, positive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
