Highlights
  • 66WRGHFX+CHH - Embark on a 45-minute hike (one way) through the jungle along the stunning ‘’El Tigre’’ river. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to spot incredible wildlife such as toucans, monkeys (including howlers, white-faced, spider, and squirrel monkeys), red macaws, roseate spoonbills, herons, parakeets, frogs, reptiles, and snakes. You’ll be immersed in lush forest, not far from Corcovado National Park.

Hear the tale of gold in the region as you hike up. At the final destination, I’ll share my 12 years of experience in artisanal gold panning with you. You’ll get to try out the tools (bar, shovel, pan, sluice box, mask, crevice sucker) and sample for gold. You might even get lucky and find something shiny in your pan!

On the way back, we’ll stop at a natural pool where you can cool off and enjoy the surrounding nature. Feel free to snorkel, have a snack, and then we’ll begin our journey back to the village of ‘’Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre’’.
