You must visit Rainmaker Reserve - Cannot say enough nice things about Pedro from Tucanes Tours. He was our driver from Pto Jiminez to Quepos and became so much more. Yes, he’s an excellent driver and also incredible source of information about CR and all the tours that can be done around Quepos and beyond. On Pedro’s advice, we did a tour of Rainmaker Reserve with him and a nature guide (Brenda) from Tucanes Tours. Outstanding recommendation, we love the hike through primary rainforest and swimming in pools under the falls. It’s unusual to find someone who goes this much above and beyond, and we are so appreciative!

Wonderful service, wonderful people - We used Tucanes Tours to travel from Puerto Jimenez to Quepos. Our driver, Pedro, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the whole route and became an extra member of our family on the trip. We asked a lot of questions about what we were passing and he effortlessly knew all the answers. He recommended a wonderful lunch spot on our way. The trip was safe and clean. It was a perfect addition to our trip!
