The perfect tour guide mixed with a beautiful location - First of all, our tour guide Charles was amazing. He made the trip perfect from beginning to end. We had a timely pick up from the hotel, and got dropped back off at the front door. The vehicle was clean and the entire ride there we discussed local history and he had so many fun facts. There wasn't a dull moment! The tour itself was just the right amount of walking, and the right amount of driving and sightseeing. Charles was extremely knowledgeable. The forest itself was beautiful and it was easily one of the best parts of my trip. I was there with my nephew, my mom, my brother, and my sons. We had people from the ages of 8 to 60-something, and it was easily navigated by all.

El Yunque with Charles - Charles was an exceptional guide and extremely informative on the forest and all the species and flowers in the rain forest. Very cool this is the only tropical rain forest in the National Forest system. And has more species than any other National Forest. Met some new friends from Pittsburgh. Great touring mates.

Great Half-Day Tour with Scenic Views and Nature Hike - We chose this excursion for a variety of reasons - hotel / accommodation transportation, small group sizes, and positive reviews - and we were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly and promptly by Charles in a spacious and comfortable van. We were surprised (and delighted) to see that there were only two other lovely women joining us for our excursion, making our group total only five! We benefited from the small, intimate group and special attention from Charles. We also greatly enjoyed the stops - observation tower, moderate nature walk / hike with scenic overlook, and waterfall. It was just the right amount of walking, riding and sight seeing. It was worth the price for the wonderful experience!

Amazing, beautiful day with gorgeous views! - This was our first trip to Puerto Rico and the rainforest is an absolute must! If you aren’t sure, change your mind and definitely go! Our tour guide, Charlie, was excellent. He told us useful information from the time we got in the van until he dropped us off for (his recommended) lunch spot (which was excellent) in Old San Juan. The scenery was amazing. The tour moved quickly enough that we never got bored and there were beautiful surprises along the way. Do not pass up the opportunity to go on this trip. It was only a half day tour, so we had plenty of time left for another adventure. We didn’t need to bring anything with us but comfortable walking shoes. There were bathroom breaks and opportunities to purchase food and drinks as needed. This is a tour that most people can enjoy, no experience necessary.

The guide was wonderful... - The guide was wonderful sharing the history and recommending places to eat. But most of the trip was driving from the city into the rainforest. We only spent about 30 min walking and the time in a visitor center. 1/2 day meant 3/4 of time in a van traveling.
