Setting Sail on the Adriatic

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I made my way to Marina Polesana in Pula, the starting point of my latest adventure. The air was crisp, carrying the salty scent of the sea, and I felt a familiar thrill of anticipation. As a marine biologist, the ocean is my second home, but this time, I was here not to study but to experience the sheer joy of sailing. A Dance with Dolphins

The highlight of the day came unexpectedly. As we approached the caves, a pod of dolphins appeared, playfully following our boat. It was a magical moment, watching these graceful creatures glide through the water, their presence a testament to the rich biodiversity of the region. We paused to watch them, their sleek bodies cutting through the waves with effortless grace.

Reaching the caves, we were given the opportunity to jump from the top, an exhilarating experience that left us all breathless and laughing. The day was drawing to a close, but the memories we created would last a lifetime. As we sailed back to the marina, the setting sun painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, a perfect end to a perfect day.
