Highlights
- Atuncolla - We will visit the little houses where rural community tourism is practiced, where we will also be able to appreciate South American camelids such as the alpaca, llama and huanacos, we will also appreciate their lifestyles of the inhabitants.

Sillustani - The different Chullpas or funerary towers of Sillustani rise up to 12 meters high and belong to pre-Inca and Inca cultures. These are located on a small peninsula surrounded by the Umayo lagoon, from where we can appreciate all its natural beauty as well as the architecture and engineering of the time.
Remains of noblemen were found in each tower, buried along with offerings to ensure their passage to another life.
Especially near the funerary tower or chullpa del lagarto, the royal trousseau of a nobleman was found with more than 500 gold pieces, these pieces are exhibited in the Carlos Dreyer museum in the city of Puno.

We really liked it - I loved visiting the family, they have is fresh bread and cheese to greet us. It was delicious! We also said hi to their alpacas and guanacos and learnt about their life style.
Sillustani is interesting too and offered extraordinary views.

Greta value for money - A great trip to visit the islands and learn about life on lake Titicaca. Highly recommend, excellent value for money. Just make sure to bring cash with you to spend on the islands

Half day tour to Sillustani with Puno Tours - Excellent & enjoyable half day tour of Sillustani, a last minute booking through TripAdvisor with Puno Tours. Pick up & drop off at hotel, very good value at only $22 for a half day tour. Informative tour to the burial chambers (mostly pre-Inca), also included a stop at a small farm which was interesting. Esteban was a wonderful guide.

An unforgettable experience! - It was our first visit to Puno and I think we couldn't have made a better choice. We requested a 3-day tour plus the transportation service from the airport to the hotel and from the first moment we were able to confirm the punctuality (both of the pick-up from the airport and the hotel to go to the different tours) but above all, the kindness with the that the staff gets along with the tourists, as well as the guides. They were always in contact with us to answer any questions and to make sure we were okay. Totally recommended.

Interesting worthwhile experience - A bit of messing around with transport initially (taxi, minibus, the coach). Knowledgeable and informative guide. Great place to visit - eerie and interesting.
