The journey begins at Muelle Prat in Punta Arenas where the tour leader is ready to facilitate a trip to Los Pinguinos Natural Monument in Patagonia, a renowned penguin colony teeming with unique flora and fauna. The adorable penguins, under the watchful care of the Chilean guard, offer visitors a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures. A visit here is a poignant reminder of our incredible planet. The visit doesn’t last long, only about an hour and a half, but it’s a time filled with special moments. There’s a walk towards an ancient lighthouse, the Magellan Strait enriching the backdrop throughout the journey. Onlookers can expect to spot between 100,000 to 170,000 Magellan Penguins before they return to the pier in Punta Arenas.
