Once we arrived in Bayahibe, we embarked on a motorboat, speedboat, or catamaran. (If the journey is started by boat, we return via the catamaran and vice versa.) On the day of the excursion, customers have the freedom to select the type of vessel they prefer - it can be a catamaran, a launch boat or a combination of both. Our journey continues to the stunning natural swimming pool situated 200 to 300 meters off the beach line. With water levels up to the knees or waist, it provides a perfect opportunity to revel in the excellent landscape and weather. As part of the experience, you will need to navigate approximately 800 meters parallel to the beach, between the white sand and a vast coral terrace. This acts as a natural barrier between the pool and open sea, creating this natural marvel. The pool also features a long stretch of clear waters and beautiful starfish- a sight to behold. We’ll spend 40 minutes here for your enjoyment, before proceeding to the serene Saona Island. With its calm ambience, refreshing air, and beautiful palm trees, Saona Island is truly a distinctive beauty. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity, make sure to reserve your spot.

Beautiful trip - Amazing , beautiful island with beautiful people , a wonderful experience from the boat trip to the island , everyone was very accommodating, bring card or dollars with you to purchase extra food on the island

Very recommended tour! - Very easy communication with a representative after a booking. Manuel (tour guide) and whole team did an amazing job hosting us and making us feel special. We really enjoyed the Island, 2-2.5 hours with lunch, natural pool 30-45 minutes...and a lot of rum.

Fun but, geared for a younger crowd. - We had fun. The trip was definitely geared for a younger crowd but, we still made the best of it. Our guide, Manuel, was fabulous. He looked out for us and was extremely helpful with translation. We were one of just a few English speaking guests.

It's worth reserving a day for this super cool tour. - A destination that was always highly recommended to me by Elite Resorts travel agents, and that on several occasions I stopped going, as I already had another commitment and that I finally met, was Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic.
We arrived in Punta Cana and after the first day of accommodation at the Barceló Bávaro Palace Resort, we scheduled a trip to Saona Island, a natural jewel in the region.
It is an unmissable trip for anyone visiting Punta Cana, it is an island with good infrastructure, a wonderful beach, clear water and no incidence of sargassum, common in many Caribbean destinations.

Not everything that glitters is gold - To begin, the seller of the "Alegria" tour promised me that the tour was going to be very good and yet, which was not the case, in fact on the pages they also offer the same thing and they do not give it, it has nothing to do with the company , but they offered us some gifts with the purchase of the tour that never appeared, that speaks of how they are as people.
The famous buffet with everything was a caked paella and something else, drink water and common coke, the drinks bar is terrible, despite everything they directly asked you for the tip
From the beginning of the tour, the harassment is tremendous, they make you waste your time on purpose to sell you or get money from you in some way, the first photo, they want to sell it to you at the end with the bottle of mamajuana, on the catamaran they put some hats on you without ask for permission, which most people think are free, and at the end they charge you for it.
For the person in charge of justifying all these opinions, they do not realize that they make a living from tourism, if they harass people and deceive them in this way, people will opt for other destinations, and it does not matter if they are other companies, they will be bought. tour to you and you are the ones who expose tourists to all harassment, for my part I decided not to visit Punta Cana anymore since the hotels have the same mentality

It’s just ok - The water and sand are beautiful , but the food area and bathrooms are horrible , dirty and unkept what a shame !

I will be suing the cruise ship.I was drugged on cruise - Be very careful I was drugged on there cruise.They don’t like Americans.The food was trash and the boat is very small and also stole my money and my shoes once we were told to get off and go swimming in the ocean.Then I was drugged and arrested by there police.and it’s not open bar they walk around with shots of very cheap rum .please be careful I was there February 2024.They were desperate, begging for money also.I would not recommend this cruise to anyway please be safe. The most scary experience I ever had in fact no American should travel there water is gross and food it’s very sad.
