Good little adventure, but there’s some things you don’t expect - It was an average excursion. Advice: - if the weather has been really dry, the dune buggies are going to kick up a fair amount of dust and you are driving in a line so you may want to think about wearing a bandana over your face and some glasses. They do sell them at the tour place before you start. Also the same advice if it’s been quite rainy because there are some big puddles that you go through that splashes mud everywhere and you may not want to get that in your eyes. Pros: - driving the buggy’s all over was pretty cool and you got to some decent speeds even driving in a line. Lots of bumpy ground. - The underground cave was pretty cool, just so you know, you have to jump about 6 feet off a little cliff into the water. There’s pretty much no other way to get in there and you have to be capable of climbing out. It’s not a difficult climb but there’s no ladder. There’s just a rope and you gotta pull yourself up some rocks. - The guides were very friendly and you always had about three guides with each group - at the end of the tour and the beginning of the tour there are bathrooms that can be used. You don’t have to pay any extra for them so that’s really nice and at the end of the tour they also provide a shower area where you can shower off any mother dirt or anything before you have to go home. Cons: - the buggies are pretty beaten up. Ours wouldn’t start by itself and the mechanic had to come and jumpstarted every time that we stopped. However, a mechanic came with a group the whole time, so it wasn’t that big of an issue. - there are three stops ones at a really nice beach but you’re very rushed and you only have 15 minutes to enjoy the water. Another one’s at a cave that has a pool at the bottom and again you only have 15 minutes so you literally have enough time to walk down the stairs jump in once swim for a couple minutes and climb back out again. the third stop is where you stop at a little souvenir area and they spend about 30 minutes telling you what sort of stuff you can buy and talking to you about Dominican souvenirs. They take more time on this than the other stops. It would’ve been nice if we had at least half an hour at the beach and half an hour at the pool then we could’ve actually enjoyed those stops properly. Especially since we were travelling with children it’s so hard to rush kids in those situations. - we selected an English tour guide and we got lumped in with a whole bunch of people that spoke only Spanish as well. The tour guy did speak both languages but he focussed about 80% of the speech in Spanish and about 20% in English, which left affects a little curious about things at times.

Worthwhile - Overall it was a great experience. My group had fun and it was well worth the price. The only drawback was that we felt as though each stop that we made, we were being hustled by locals; quite annoying. The excursion itself was really good

Unprofessional - They were late picking us up from our hotel. The experience itself was good but we paid for a picture package that I never received and have been calling them for 2 days now and never got the pictures.

Keep looking: this is not the one for you. - Day of our ride: The only communication was an email telling me that my pickup time from the hotel was an hour AFTER our excursion started. Our tour started at 1, we were picked up about 2, arrived at the location about 230. We were immediately subjected to the high pressure of buying a video, and an even harder sell of a “private tour”- we declined as the 6 people in our group were the only ones riding that day. So darn annoying Once we did get going, We only rode about 5 mins before we stopped at a chocolate place- drove another 10 minutes and stopped at the cenote. Going into the water was not an option as It was not safe at all, none of us jumped in because the only way out was to climb up a rope. Note: cenote access was free to the public, but the trip stated the fee was covered. The experience at the beach was less than thrilling- we parked in a field by a partially built house and walked a long trail to sneak in from the edge of the park- there was no fee fir them to cover- Overall, this experience sucked. About 30 minutes of riding, and almost 2 hours of high pressure begging. Waste of money

Not many. They kept... - Not many. They kept acusing some of our group of not paying, yet we all had our paid confirmations. I was given a buggy thst broke down 3x along the route, finally I was given a replacement that had no brakes. At every stop along route we were being rushed. We did not enjoy it at all. We stopped at becah which is tourist trap. With local prices inflated 3 or 4 times more than normal.
