An enjoyable day cruise! - We really enjoyed our day cruise to Isla Tortuga! We were staying in Manuel Antonio, so had to get up really early (like 4am) to get to Puntarenas. The cruise was 2 hours and fun- they played spanish music and served us delicious ceviche and fruit. Isla Tortuga was beautiful, we had time for the lunch and spent some time in the water. The island has wild pigs that look like baby wild boar-they kept trying to steal our coconuts but were harmless. It was a long day for us, having to travel back to Manuel Antonio, but definitely worth it. The staff on the boat was friendly and helpful.

Time of your life! Pura Vida! - Amazing experience! We enjoyed the full-day excursion to Tortuga Island. We loved the hospitality as soon as we stepped foot on the boat. We were greeted with a rum punch and offered coffee and water. The DJ was the best, playing various music that catered to all passengers. We could purchase drinks and were given fresh fruit and ceviche! The island was lovely and cute! Had a small shop where you could purchase snacks, souvenirs, and wifi for the day ($4).

Hilarious, Joyful, Beautiful Tour Day! - OH MY GOSH!! Such an amazing tour. As a solo female traveler, I was looking for something safe, inclusive and fun with other tourists. The guides did not speak very much English but it did not matter, it was the perfect vacation day. The boat ride takes almost two hours from Puntarenas each way, but it is the perfect time to enjoy snacks they provide with fresh fruit juice and coffee. You can see dolphins, manta rays and other assorted fish jumping out of the water. The lunch on the island was tasty, and the beverages were cold. The snorkel tour is amazing, they take you out to the perfect spot to see tons of fish. The banana boat ride is pretty short, but hilarious. To end out the day, the very cute tour guide offered salsa lessons on the boat ride back as the sun went down. Would absolutely recommend! Does take an entire day, from 7:30 to about 4:30pm.

Platters of fresh fruit along with tasty tropical drinks kept us smiling! Traditional Casada served for lunch with a complimentary glass of sangria. The crew took care of everything! ROY was exceptionally attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this full day excursion. This was my THIRD day trip and I’ll do it again, next month! Great way to enjoy the beauty and celebrate Life in Costra Rica, with friends and family! Book now! You will be pleasantly SURPRISED!

Very nice staff. They... - Very nice staff. They forgot to give us our fruit when we boarded and others had theirs, but as soon as we asked, we were served. The food at lunch was really good too. Got to meet others and had some wonderful conversations.

Worth every penny - Omg where do I start...From the time we boarded the boat the staff was very pleasant and friendly we received rum punches on the walk in. The DJ had the tunes jamming from beginning to end while still playing a mixture of everything for everyone. The fresh fruit, snack, drinks were all great. We bought drinks from the bar as well which was very reasonably priced and tasted amazing. Once on the island everything was great. It started raining a little but that stopped nothing. The island was gorgeous and beautiful. Lunch which is provided was delicious and tasty. We bought pineapple Pina coladas which was also amazing. I decided to do the banana boat with the flip let's just say I will NEVER do that again lol. Overall I had a great experience. Also people were complaining about the long boat ride and that was no problem between dancing, chatting, and enjoying the gorgeous views the ride to and back went pretty fast.

Nice day on Tortuga island - This is a full day trip to Tortuga island. The address listed on this website for the meeting point is incorrect. I'm glad they sent the actual address out the night before. There is no parking lot near the meeting point, however, my rental car was fine parked on the street all day. The snorkeling was terrible. Water was very cloudy, couldn't see anything. The beach area was beautiful and there were seats for everyone. The food served was pretty good, I really liked the rice and fish. Be prepared for a 1.5-2 hour boat ride to and from the island. Overall enjoyed my time on Tortuga island.

This was my first time on a boat in Costa Rica. Main complaint was the roaches - There were roaches on the boat and very crowded. The boat employees were nice but the boat should have been fully cleaned without any rodents.

Unhappy - Bay Island Cruises - I was very disappointed with the boat from Bay Island Cruises. They pick you up around 5:30am and for breakfast they only served pork (ham and cheese sandwich) for breakfast so my family did not eat since we don't eat pork. We get on the boat and the music was catered only to spanish speaking people only. I feel like they should of switch the music a little bit. Even the entertainment only was speaking to the Spanish people and not one word in English. The only people that spoke English was our tour guide Mariela. At 12pm they said it was lunch but we had snorkeling since we were in 2nd group and could not eat until we returned at 1:45pm which by then the food was cold. There was a tour guide named Hazel who was trying her hardest to make adjustments and understand our situation. She was very welcoming and was communicating in english and helping us try to get food. I think they defintely need to be adjustments for non speaking spanish people but the island itself is Beautiful, water was warm. they need water on the island so people can take showers after spending time on the beach!
