Learn about the history of wine making from 1660, accompanied with an audio guide, which is in 21 languages! - Estate Argyros - Follow a wine exhibition in Argyros Estate winery. Under the guidance of specialized Wine Educators. get detailed information about the Estate Argyros Winery produce and the particularities of the vineyards of Santorini. For all wine lovers, this tour offers a nice introduction to the indigenous grapes of Santorini and the story of Estate Argyros, featuring a selection of four (4) current vintage wines, accompanied with an assortment of fine Greek cheese and bread sticks.

Additional Information
Santorini is well known for its long wine-making tradition. The island is covered with vineyards and its volcanic soil and unique climate give a special flavor to the grapes. You are invited into the deep countryside of Santorini to learn about our production history since 1660! Enjoy a lovely drive towards a scenic winery and taste an exquisite variety and personal favorite, that matures in French oak barrels. Later, follow an exhibition and a guided tour, led by a sommelier, in a luxury and modern winery followed by a visit to the unique Wine Museum to see some of the oldest vines on the island, which are over 150 years old. At your own pace, you will see the production areas and relax in a courtyard, so you will realize why everyone who visits Santorini, is longing for the summer days and sunsets with a glass in hand.

Wine tour - Excellent wine tour. Tasos was an entertaining host, took us to three very different wineries and allowed us plenty of time at each of them. Highly recommended

Wine Tour in Santorini - Not sure of the exact name of the tour as the receptionist at our hotel booked it for us. She said as a private tour we would be able ask to go and see places as they were very flexible. This was NOT the case. It was very fixed with distinct time slots at 3 wineries. However, the trip was very good and Panagiota was excellent. She was knowledgeable and fun to be with.
The first winery with the museum (koutsogiannopoulos) was excellent with very nice staff, the last winery was superb (Estate Argyros). We were not so keen on the Artspace Winery (not bothered with the art and didn’t connect with the guide who made us feel like we’d interrupted her day). So nice to find out about the history of wine making in Santorini and we are certainly enjoying the wine during our stay here. Lovely to meet Panagiota who is a superb guide. With over 200 wineries on Santorini, visiting 3 is just a tiny picture.

Private Guided Winery Tour - We had such an amazing time during this tour! Wineries were excellent and beautiful!! We had Nikolas as our tour guide and he was the best!! So friendly, informative and very generous. He was able to share a lot of history about the wineries and Santorini in general. Would highly recommend!! Thank you SRT and Nikolas!! You guys were amazing!!

Great guide and great wine - The tour started off great with Alex, our guide. He knew the island well and spent time with us to explain the history and changes over time. I highly recommend Alex for the guide. The selection of wineries was fantastic as well with tours at each facility showing how the local wine is made. The winery tour guides were every knowledgeable and wines they picked for tasting were great.
