Your driver and Egyptologist will pick you up this morning and drive you through the countryside of Giza to start your day by:

Dahshur: is a royal necropolis located in the desert on the west bank of the Nile approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) south of Cairo. It is known chiefly for several pyramids, two of which are among the oldest, largest and best preserved in Egypt, built from 2613–2589 BC.Building the Dahshur pyramids was an extremely important learning experience for the Egyptians. It provided them with the knowledge and know-how to transition from step-sided pyramids to smooth-sided pyramids. 

A wonderful site that is less visited by tourists.

Saqqara: Was the necropolis (cemetery) for the ancient Egyptian city of Memphis and the place where the very first pyramids were built as tombs for kings, not with smooth sides, but with six steps on the outside representing the pharaoh’s stepladder to heaven. Here you’ll see the famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the first pyramid ever built and the world’s oldest freestanding stone structure. You will also admire the beautiful tomb art at Sakkara, which gives great insight into the lives of the ancient Egyptians.

Giza Pyramids:Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza.  The only present-day survivors of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, they are among the world’s greatest tourist attractions and never lose their ability to inspire and overwhelm visitors. 

Sphinx: Visit the mysterious Sphinx, an ancient figure shrouded in legend and mystery.  Your Egyptologist will enthrall you with the tales told of this fascinating figure.

Best trip of our lives! - Our trip with High End Journeys was the best trip of our lives! George was an amazing guide. Every detail was thought through. My husband is very knowledgeable about Egypt so we wanted a guide who could teach him more. George went so far beyond our expectations. We got to experience many of the sights with no tourists around. This really helped us grasp the majesty of what we saw. I usually plan my own trips, so I was wary of handing the job over to someone else, but I am so glad I did. The company is owned by Egyptians and they know the country, culture and history inside and out. I highly, highly recommend traveling with High End Journeys.

Taken care of from start to finish - highly recommend! - What an amazing experience and company, we would highly recommend High End Journeys to any of our friends and family traveling to Egypt. We were greeted right after we landed at the Cairo airport by Ishmael. He guided us through passport control, grabbed all our luggage, and streamlined us through customs to our awaiting vehicle with driver Ahmed. I've never landed from an international flight and been in a vehicle and on my way in such little time - AMAZING! Ahmed seamlessly weaved his way through the crazy Cairo traffic. The vehicle was spacious and we always had cold water and snacks available. Plus he always had the best smile waiting for us as we arrived back to the vehicle :) Our Egyptologist was Raina, and she was absolutely amazing! She LOVES history and explained things so well. There really wasn't a question she didn't know. Our 3 days consisted of Saqqara, Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, the market, and then we had bonus stops such as seeing how they make silk rugs, and the Papyrus, etc. All our lunch spots were absolutely fantastic. I was so full each day I barely ate dinner ;) Our flight home was at 4am, and Ishmael even met us at the airport at 2am to make sure we got all checked in and through security with ease. Hands down they were worth every penny!

The best of Egypt - This trip was amazing . Our guide , Ramez was so full of history and great stories about the gods of ancient Egypt. We loved everything that he had so effortlessly planned for us from night tours in the museum and the valley of the kings to camel rides to the pyramids and lunch overlooking the pyramids. A beautiful 3 day cruise on the Nile with delicious gourmet meals and a trip to mt Sinai. We lived every minute !

An amazing Egyptian experience from start to finish - We spent 8 amazing days in Egypt on a trip arranged by Alaa Yousry at High End Journeys. From the minute we arrived in Cairo until we left Luxor 8 days later we were looked after like Kings & Queens. Mohamed Hassan (our Egyptologist who accompanied us for the entire time in Egypt) was exceptional. His in-depth knowledge of Egyptian history & archeology combined with his sense of humour & easy going nature made the trip a delight. There were so many highlights - The Giza Pyramids, Valley of the Kings, Aswan, Abu Simbel, The Karnak Temple & Nile Cruise on the Historia. I would highly recommend High End Journeys and Mohamed Hassan for anyone planning a trip to Egypt.

Fabulous week in Egypt - We had a week in Egypt organised by High End Tours which included an Egyptologist who accompanied us for the week. Mohamed Hussan was a fantastic guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country’s history.

Wonderful, enjoyable, and SAFE time in Cairo! - We just finished three tour days with High End Journeys. We spent one day visiting Dahshour Pyramids and Saqqara. We spent the next tour day visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum, Giza Pyramids, and Sphinx. The last day we toured Coptic Cairo, the Cave church, the old Islamic quarters, Sultan Hassan and Refaie Mosques, and rode a felucca on the Nile. Each day also included lunch from a restaurant with delicious local Egyptian food. We never felt unsafe during our trip. The group made sure we were always well informed and prepared. The mornings started with our tour coordinator, Mohamed Magdy, picking us up with the driver from our apartment. He would explain our day to us, always with a smile, and connect us with our tour guide, who met us closer to our first destination. Our tour guide was so nice! Her name is Sussanna. After the first day, our kids asked if we were having the same guide the other days because they enjoyed her so much. She is friendly, engaging, helpful, a great photographer, and knows her information. She made sure also the information was understandable for our kids (ages 10, 11, and 12 years old). We started the tours with Sussanna just as a guide but ended our times as friends.

They organized a solo trip for me to Egypt, where I had the most amazing experiences. I cruised along the Nile, marveling at the beauty of the river and the ancient monuments. 10 Day Cairo and Nile Cruise - I cannot say enough good things about our trip to Egypt over Christmas. We used High End Journeys to curate a very custom trip and they over delivered. I wish I could go into everything we did, but it would take too long. Many people told us to cancel because of the unrest in the region, but I was assured we'd be safe. We all felt nothing but safe. Such beautiful people, and a magnificent culture. Egypt was magical and we can't wait to create another experience with High End.

One of the coolest trips ever! - High End Journeys organized a fabulous two week vacation for us that started in Cairo and took us all the way down to Abu Simbel. The extremely knowledgeable Egyptologist who was with us through it all provided insights into not only the rich history and culture of ancient Egypt but also a glimpse into modern day living there. All their staff were easy to deal with, kind, funny and well-informed. The exclusive, extra side-trips they set up for us will forever remain some of our favorite memories ever (and that’s saying a lot for a family that travels internationally at least twice a year). I would also like to point out that, while we were initially a little nervous about the current political situation in Israel/Gaza spilling over into Egypt, it quickly became abundantly clear to us that this is not a concern. We felt entirely safe the whole time we were there. In shirt, I cannot recommend High End Journeys enough and hope more people will use them to discover this amazing country!
