- Jack’s Point Trail Network - Jack’s Point offers a diverse array of cycling paths that cater to both leisurely riders and serious cyclists. The imposing Remarkables mountain range provides a stunning backdrop, with most pathways beginning near or leading to the Jack’s Point Clubhouse. With difficulty levels ranging from easy to challenging, there’s a suitable path for every visitor, including those with dogs.
- Queenstown Gardens - Since its inception in 1866, the gardens have served as a peaceful retreat by the lake, featuring cool, shaded areas with seating, a play area for kids, and monuments dedicated to Robert Falcon Scott and William Gilbert Rees, the region’s pioneer European settler. Numerous benches are scattered throughout, offering spots to pause and enjoy the panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu, the Kelvin Peninsula, and the Cecil and Walter Peaks.
