This is one of my... - This is one of my favourite tours that I had in NZ. The coach Paddy is very friendly and informative. We had a perfect morning with great weather to have a morning ride with horses. The afternoon tea was delicious and the stroll around Walter peak farm was quite relaxed with the beautiful view of snowy mountains. Highly recommend if you want to try some horse riding in this beautiful place!!

Just Queenstown WOW. - Beautiful trip on TSS EARNSLAW. PIANO SERANADING the passengers. Vistas lovely. Matt and Tegan were really great Horse Hosts . WE had a lovely trek our horses were beautiful and well cared for. My horse was called jimmy. Lovely afternoon Tea after the ride and a nice cruise back to Queenstown.

Great Experience - I had such a fun time on this tour! Scenic ferry ride over to the island, followed by an amazing horse ride with spectacular views. Tour guides were very personable and gave excellent anecdotes about the local area. Followed by a tasty afternoon tea! Couldn’t recommend enough!

100% Fantastic!! - Remarkable time! Amazing views and Matt (guide) was Tremendous! He was Very personable and interesting and knowledgable! The horse I rode was Fantastic! And the horse that Matt rode was so friendly as well. I have ridden before but not for a while and have never been on such an Amazing ride ever! The farm tour and morning tea was ‘icing on the cake’ so to speak. Thank you for such a Great Experience! Deb S.

Fantastic!!! - This was amazing! The scenic boat trip, followed by a beautiful casual horse ride, taking in the views, stopping to take some pic’s & videos along the way. The horses are beautiful and the guides (Benny & Kody) were so caring & accommodating to everyone! Such a great experience & a holiday highlight for us.

A good taste of horse riding - If you have never experienced horse riding before, the tour offers a wonderful introduction. You'll have the opportunity to leisurely ride a horse through the farm, gradually ascending a small mountain and enjoying the breathtaking view. The only downside is that if you're assigned a late time slot for the ride, you might not have enough time to explore the farm on foot.

Great horse riding trip at Walters Peak. - The boat trip across lake Wakatipu on the steam ship TSS Earnslaw started the day perfectly. What a boat and still in such great condition after 110 years. After 40 minutes we landed at Walter’s Peak and straight away wish we had booked a table at their restaurant overlooking the lake. We were met by Benny who warmly welcomed and took us straight to our horses. Mine was called Rylie and my wife’s horse was Alice. This was my first time ever on a horse and what a place to start. Once we climbed aboard the horses, we we joined by Cody who lead us up through the fields and mountains. The views were fantastic and glad to say Rylie behaved himself. Definitely a trip to do if you’re in Queenstown. Thanks to Benny & Cody f9r making the horse riding brilliant. We were also treated to afternoon tea from their cafe at Walter’s Peak and the cakes were the best I had had in ages. 👍👍👍

Horses, dog working sheep and afternoon tea - We had a fantastic time riding the horses up into the hills by the farm… and then we were able to see the dog work the sheep afterwards… a great experience
