Excellent tour with Jeremy - Excellent tour. Jeremy was a great guide. We saw beautiful interesting birds, sloths, monkeys, bats, insects, crabs. Lizards, iguanas, deer, a beautiful beach and more. Jeremy saw things and showed them to us through his spotting scope or through his connected iPhone that we never would have seen. Very informative, pleasant, and responsive. The MA Natl Park is popular and crowded. recommend going as early in the day as possible even if you have to bring breakfast with you.

Manuel Antonio National Park Excursion - We took the excursion to Manuel Antonio National Park and I definitely recommend it! Our guide was charming, super detailed and very knowledgeable! We saw a lot of animals and it made it the best excursion we have done to natural parks on the trip!

Day tour Manuel Antonio NP - Sloth alarm with top guide and highlight of my Costa Rica trip - Even before the tour, the team helped me get there and find my accommodation and also helped me pay the national park fee because my credit card wouldn't work. The pickup from my accommodation worked perfectly, last in first out. The guide Jeremy was just great! Super funny, very competent, always kept us informed about the next step and made all our wishes come true by finding the animals out of nowhere, showing them to us through the telescope and even taking pictures that he later shared with us for free. Top service through and through! We saw so many animals, the macaws greeted us on the way to the entrance of the national park, the howler monkeys greeted us at the gate of the NP entrance and the white-headed monkeys made their exit on the beach in Manuel Antonio. The food was outstanding with a great, extensive breakfast and lunch buffet with local delicacies and hot coffee in the Tucanes headquarters. A wonderful day! And seeing the sloth babies was the absolute highlight of my Costa Rica trip. A very nice group too, great day, absolutely a success! I can really recommend Tucanes 200%, customer service, competence and satisfaction are very important here. Keep it up and here's to many happy customers :-)

Lots of explanation and fantastic photos! - Alberto showed us all the animals with great knowledge and enthusiasm and takes fantastic photos that he shares with you; that saves a lot of your own failed photos. Nice change on the beach for a swim and to cool off.

Incredible guided tour of Manuel Antonio National Park - We had a fabulous tour led by Brenda, an amazing naturalist! Brenda had an incredible way of picking out animals that you could never see in plain sight, grabbing them quickly in her telescopic lens, and making it easy for us to see them close up even though if they were high up in the trees. She also had an uncanny way of being able to obtain pictures on our phone through the scope for us to bring home. She provided tons of information, and taught us about the history of Manuel Antonio National Park, the beaches, and about birds, plants, trees, and animals. She engaged our two young sons, and the tour was incredibly informative and it was super special having her lead us there. We end of the day at Manuel Antonio Beach, which is an amazing place to catch a wave! Highly recommend this tour if you want information that you cannot otherwise know and to see animals you might not otherwise spot just from going to the National Park by yourself.

Tucanes is a full service tour company and their park experience is top notch. - We actually booked all of our Manuel Antonio activities with Tucanes. Melissa was key in helping us fit in everything that we wanted to do. We enjoyed surfing, the park tour, kayaking, and the crocodile tour. We did not rent a car, so having transportation lined up for each of the activities was helpful. Our guides were knowledgable and able to conduct tours and lessons in Spanish and English. I have already recommended our itinerary and Tucanes to our friends at home! The whitewater rafting really is season dependent - be sure to ask what level the water is likely to be during your trip.

A great wildlife experience - Yu Ames tours were very good but our guide Jeremy Espinoza was outstanding. His knowledge of flora and fauna was exceptional and he explained everything so well with as much biology as you wanted. This was a great tour and well worth it if you want to see wildlife. Thanks to Tucanes Tours and to Jeremy.

Great day in the national park with Karla from Tucanes tours - We signed up for a group afternoon tour and ended up being the only two people on the tour. Lucky us! They picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. Our tour guide, Karla, couldn't have been better. She has 20+ years of guiding experience/knowledge and was so personable. We had her to ourselves for 3 hours. We saw sloths, many birds, spiders, squirrel monkeys, iguanas, lizards, red clawed crabs, termites and massive nests, agouti and more plant and tree species than we could possible list. The biggest point here is that you must - I repeat, must - have a tour guide. You would never see most of the animals we saw without knowing where to look. Also, if you don't book a tour through a reputable group, we read that there are many scammers outside the park that will try to get you to work with them. There is also bogus parking and many other issues if you try to go it alone. So, if you do, do your careful research. If you go with Tucanes, ask for Karla - she was top notch!

Most exciting was the squirrel monkey! Having a guide ensures you see things you would not notice otherwise. - Our guide was fantastic and we saw some interesting things. The park is crowded and it was very hot. At the end we had to choose between staying in the park longer or enjoying the provided snacks and transportation back. We chose to stay in the park, but I think if I had to do it over, I would have returned with the group.
