Highlights
  • Manuel Antonio National Park - Upon gathering at our designated meeting spot, your guide, who is officially certified by the ICT (Costa Rica Tourism Board), will introduce themselves and inform you of the guidelines to follow during the excursion.\n\nThroughout our journey, we will traverse at least four distinct paths within the Park, observing an array of wildlife that includes monkeys, sloths, lizards, amphibians, snakes, birds, and insects. This area is renowned for its biodiversity. Additionally, we’ll have the chance to capture stunning photographs using our HD spotting scopes, ensuring you have lasting memories of your visit.\n\nOpting for a morning tour allows additional time to savor the beach post-tour, whereas the afternoon may not afford the same leisure due to the Park’s closing time at 3:00pm.\n\nAfternoon excursions tend to be less congested than their morning counterparts. Should you wish to spend time at the beach during an afternoon tour, your guide will have an alternative ‘plan B’ to maximize your enjoyment!

Best tour ever! - This was an amazing tour! Our guide Saul was very nice, informative, and passionate about his job. He answered any questions we had, and also took amazing photos on my phone through the spotter scope. He really went above and beyond. Highly recommend requesting him for your tour!

Visual Delight w/ Educated Tour Guide - We did a two hour tour with MOP and he was incredible -- someone needs to study this man's eyesight because he could spot wildlife like no other. His trained eye could spot every sloth, grasshopper, snake, bird, and ant crawling in the park. We would have missed SO much if we had just walked through the tour alone. Having an experienced guide walk you through the park makes a huge difference in your experience, we are so glad we took this tour. MOP = MVP!

Amazing Manuel Antonio National Park!!!!! - All the sloths and monkeys!!! Our Guide was amazing. He knew so much about the animals, the ecosystem and Costa Rica. Ending up on the beach was so nice, too. The rain forest is humid and damp because, well, it's the RAIN FOREST! Getting to take a dip in the ocean was the perfect ending to a perfect tour! I will take this tour again when I go back to Costa Rica!!

Amazing tour with incredible sights - We had Karen Castillo as our tour guide and she was incredible. Very knowledgeable and great at spotting things. You could tell that other operators were waiting to see where she was setting up here scope for us to see. Also great at capturing photos on our phones through her scope. Overall, a great experience. The instructions given beforehand on how to get there, where to park, what to bring, we're spot on and very detailed.

Saw so many animals! - Our guide Saul was fabulous…very freindly, chatty, and knowledgeable. He showed us so many animals we wouldn’t have seen without him, plus got us super views and great pics with the spotting scope. Much info was provided on the plants as well. AlsoWe did not sign up for a private tour, but it ended up just our family of 5, so that was a nice surprise.

Edwin’s Amazing Nature Guide - We got to see many different animals - lizards, monkeys, birds, crabs, and various insects. Edwin was very knowledgeable about the environment and the different characteristics of the wildlife. If you book with Edwin, you will not need to worry about seeing animals or getting pictures. He has a phone adapter to his telescope, so everyone can see the animals at the same time. At the end of the hike, he shared all of his photos with the group. I strongly recommend Edwin if you’re looking for a guide at Manuel Antonio. He was able to identify a bird that acted for an alarm clock as us (it woke us up at 5:30 every day from its caw), just by my imitation of the bird sound. PS: Scarlet Macaws are so incredibly annoying

Mop is the best guide!! - Mop was our guide and he was fantastic. It was amazing how he could spot all the camouflaged animals. All of a sudden you appreciate even the tiniest animals. With his scope he helped us get the best pictures and videos of sloths, howler monkeys and white faced monkey; not to mention all the other birds and insects.
