An unforgettable animal and fauna experience for Europeans - Alonso guided us very well, had a lot of exciting stories to tell and had a great eye for all the well-camouflaged animals. Without him we would hardly have seen any animals.

Manuel Antonio National Park Guided tour - Our trip to Manuel Antonio National Park was amazing! Our tour guide, Alonzo was fantastic! He is so well informed, and has the eyes of hawk, spotting even the tiniest lizards camaflalauged on a tree trunk! With the aid of his scope and his special camera, he captured photos for us of all the animals we saw. He patiently answered all my kids' questions and took the time to allow them to locate the animals with their vision, as well. Strongly recommend Alonzo!

Amazing guided tour with Alonso - The tour with Alonso was great. Highly recommended. He showed us lots of animals and we have lots of great photos of them. Alonso had a lot of information about the animals. He was very friendly and open. I particularly liked that he did his job with a lot of love and respect for nature. Highly recommended, otherwise you would just mindlessly walk through the park without discovering everything that is hidden there.

Must-do! - Manuel Antonio Park is always busy, so I suggest you book in advance. I was lucky enough that my guide Alonso found me some last-minute tickets, and sent me all the information via Whatsapp. The visit was extremely instructive and Alonso explained many facts about the animals, the park and the Costa Rican biodiversity. We saw crocodiles, sloths, iguanas, landcrabs, monkeys and other exotic animals. I know you don’t get to choose your guide but you’ll be lucky if he turns out to be yours! Totally recommend the tour!

Ask for Alonso for THE BEST tour of Manuel Antonio! - Alonso is THE BEST guide! We had other guides following us to try to get a glimpse of the animals he found. We saw a Helmet Head lizard, Howler Monkey, two and three toed sloths (one with a baby), a deer & her baby, bats, frogs and snakes. His energy was unmatched and his passion for what he does was contagious. We were so lucky to get him as our guide. We were with our 11, 10 & 5 year old. He has 6 kids of his own so was very good at connecting with the kids and making sure they all got to see the animals. He also shared all the pictures from his zoom lens with us at the end. I will be referring Alonso to anyone going to Costa Rica!

amazing experience - Alonso was an amazing tour guide. You could really feel their enthusiasm and love for the nature we experienced. We have 4 girls of 13, 13, 9, 8 years old. AMAZING TOUR - AMAZING TOUR!! Alonzo Hernandez, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife, the fauna, the trees, the history of the park, and history of his country. His passion and love for his job really shined through his smile and good humour. Many of the other guides rushed their groups through the park in order to get more groups. Alonzo spent over 3 hours with our small group engaging us with questions and interesting history of so many things within the park. This tour was the highlight of our vacation!!
