Monkeys, Sloths, lizards, and crabs O’my - This tour was absolutely amazing! We saw so many animals (sloths, monkeys, iguanas, hermit crabs, etc.), and learned so much about them as well as the plants. Our guide Andersen was incredible - he was so knowledgeable and his enthusiasm was infectious. He made sure we saw everything the park had to offer.

Edgar Avila provided an amazing guided tour through Manuel Antonio Park - We just had an incredible guided tour with Edgar Avila. The tour guide can truly make or break a tour (I’ve experienced both), but Edgar was outstanding. He did several clever things, like conducting the tour "backwards," which resulted in fewer crowds and allowed him to ask other guides where they had seen animals. This strategy let us see many more animals than we anticipated. Edgar’s English was impeccable—better than many native speakers! He managed the pace perfectly, not rushing us but not lingering unnecessarily either, which is often a fine balance. He made the tour both enjoyable and educational. My wife and I did a guided tour in Manuel Antonio 10 years ago, and it didn’t compare to this one. Edgar truly made this tour exceptional!

Awesome nature experience with Edgar! - We had an amazing time in Manuel Antonio Park with our guide Edgar. He was extremely knowledgeable about the park, the plants, the animals (birds, mammals, reptiles AND insects) and the biodiversity. He showed us medicinal plants, monkeys, iguanas, agouti, and sloths! He also had a scope that allowed us to view all of these animals up close, which improved our experience greatly. Bring a swimsuit and sandals if you want to swim on the beach!

Worth the guide! - I’m usually the type to do things on my own without a guide but I’m so glad we did! Our guide Edgar was so knowledgeable and helpful. I definitely would not have been able to spot the things he did, and then he gave us information about the different animals and plants. He is an expert in birds and all Costa Rican animals! Muchas gracias Edgar!

Edgar Is The Best- ¡Numero Uno! - We had a wonderful experience with Edgar as our tour guide. With his expertise, we saw lots of animals unique to Costa Rica and Manuel Antonio (sloths and monkeys just to name a few 🙈) and also learned a lot about the park and Costa Rica. We also enjoyed the beach time with beautiful viewpoints! Highly recommend going with a tour guide and Edgar is the best! Muchas gracias, pura vida 🇨🇷

Manuel Antonio morning guided walk - We went with the tourguide Kenneth on the 2th of August. We had a great time, we got to see a lot of animals (sloths, snakes, monkeys, lizards, etc.). Kenneth explained everything very well and made pictures using his scope, which turned out beautiful. We also had some time to hang out at the beach. We were less excited about the crowdedness of the park, so many people trying to get a look at the same animal. But our guide Kenneth made sure we could take our time.

Lower your expectations - Overall the excited to visit the park was certainly there but once we were inside the park, it just seemed so crowded. Do not expect to see animals easily…unless you’re with a guide who has a scope. Animals are not easy to find so don’t be discouraged if you don’t see any. We left our guided tour and decided to go to the beach. That was perhaps the highlight of the entire adventure at the park for us.
