Beautiful phenomenon m. Definitely do it - Amazing and beautiful phenomenon. A nice short kayak to a sand bar where you have time to play with the bioluminescence. Would definitely recommend. Check the lunar calendar though as you cannot do it a full moon and best to not do it the day before or after as well.

Phenomenal experience - Johnny was an exceptional guide. He’s very patient, taught us the basics of kayaking quickly and was very knowledgeable about the bioluminescence and the area. The experience was phenomenal, the sky full of stars was also unforgettable. I highly recommend this excursion!

A quick field trip to see stars in the sand, and stars in the sky - Magical. We Kayaked a short distance to a sandbank off Isla Hotbox, and our guide, Johnnie showed us the plankton. It was like seeing fireflies lighting up the sand. Don't expect a blue glow like in the picture, but there were still quite a few. Then our guide showed us the constellations, and let us wade around a bit on our own. The experience was an adventure.

Awesome ! A moment out of time 🤩 - Perfect support, always very kind. Our guide was great and took the time to explain everything to us and it was great to share this moment with him. We feel that he loves what he does and seeing people happy makes him happy! We were able to take the kayaks to see the bioluminescence on the sand of the lagoon, bathe under the stars with the bioluminescence... a timeless moment. We were even able to see the stars and constellations thanks to the guide. A great outing that we recommend without hesitation! Thanks again 🤩

Bioluminescence and starry sky! - It was incredible to see the bioluminescences on a beautiful night with a starry sky. Jonatan explained to us what they are composed of, why they happen in this region and how the Mayans perceived them. Then he showed us which stars corresponded to the constellations. We had a great time!
