Recommend this excursion - Our guide was very informative. Very cool seeing the Mayan temples and the area. It was very hot and humid to make sure to bring lots of water!

Chacchoben Mayan Ruins tour - Rosie was a great guide, very knowledgeable and always looking for ways to avoid the crowds. She carried extra cold water and took care of getting rid of our empty bottles. Definitely bring and use bug spray! Lots of mosquitoes and biting bugs.

Very enjoyable excursion with a very knowledgeable and engaging guide. - Our group of 6 arrived at the meeting location and got signed in. We departed on time in a comfortable and new van that seated about 15. Our guide (Lorenzo) spoke excellent English. The ruins are an hour ride from Costa Maya so we walked the site for about two hours with Lorenzo leading the way. The Chocchoben ruins are a mix of excavated and unexcavated structures. It is interesting to see the unexcavated areas to know what these places looked like when they were rediscovered. We were back at the pickup point on time.

Wonderful Tour! - Our tour guide, Jésus, did a FANTASTIC job explaining the historical and architectural information regarding the ruins. He was very kind, eloquent, and thorough. This was the highlight of our trip! Thank you for the wonderful memories, well done.

Great cultural excursion - Eric provided insightful facts about the Mayan culture and ruins. Selena was very personable. After touring the ruins we were treated to a private lunch at a local resort. A great way to relax and end the tour. I hope they keep this package

Good Tour - Good Tour. Takes about 50 min to get from the port to the site of the ruins. Nice tour van and knowledgeable guide. We had to navigate thru the port shops to eventually get to the place behind the shops where were put on a van to go to a central location to be divided into tour groups.
