Highlights
- The Independence Palace - Pick up at the hotel and take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace , also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu.
- Central Post Office - Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office.
Please take notes: the Notre Dame Cathedral have been being restored ( until 2020), so the guests just visit outside.
- War Remnants Museum - Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.
- Cu Chi Tunnels - Have lunch at local restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine.
Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.
Break time for relax before return to Saigon. End trip.

vietnam experience - Vietnam was really good. All the arrangements done by TNK travel was perfect. Guides were helpful and knowledgeable about the place. Especially Vincent and Antony were explaining thinks really well.

Fun in Ho Chi Minh and at the Cu Chi tunnels!! - The day was excellent and our guide Vincent was brilliant. He was really friendly, excellent English and explained everything throughout the day extremely well. Vincent was also very considerate and patient with one member of our group who had some mobility issues....I was impressed with this.

Saigon Tour - Our tour guide Nikki was very professional and knowledgeable about the history of the places that we visited. She explained things well and was very patient. She incorporated humour and overall she had a very pleasant demeanour. I would highly recommend Nikki as a tour guide. The driver drove responsibly and safely.

History of Ho Chi Minh City - A really nice tour of the highlights of Ho Chi Minh City, beginning at the cathedral and postal office (too bad the cathedral in under renovations and you can't go inside...), then visiting the Reunification palace, the war remnants museum, and in the afternoon, Cu Chi Tunnels. All this gave as a glimpse of the History of the region from the 19th century up to now, and of the horrors of war, but also of the resilience of a people, fighting for their homeland. Our guide, Tommy, was excellent, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, sharing history and cultural information about the region.

What an experience! - We have a great time. I loved the energy and enthusiasm of our tour guide Loi/David. He was so fun and thorough with the details of the tour. One for the books especially the cu chi tunnel experience. Perfect timing it rained hard after our tour.

Great Saigon tour and must see chu chi tunnels - Fantastic trip, the tour guide Trew informative, cordail and Open to questions. The trip was scheduled well with adequate time at each location. Chi chi tunnels was fantastic and a must see. But the highlight for me was the War Remnants Museum, whoch gravely reminded me of the perils of war, and its effects generations down the line

Saigon city tour and cu chi tunnels with Mr Leo - Had an excellent tour seeing the sights of Saigon and cu chi tunnels. Mr Leo was an excellent tour guide with lots of knowledge and made sure our trip was comfortable. He really looked after us well. Highly recommend this tour and tour company.
