Awesome day trip to Fes with a stop in Volubilis - The best part of the trip was time spent with our driver, Mohammed, and our Fes Tour Guide Sharif. Both of them were easy going but eager to share their insight into the area. This is a great value for a full-day tour. Plan on a lot of driving (much of it through pretty interesting terrain) and a total of 10-12 hours. Keep in mind that many of the sites involve an education of the old-world economy of Fez (huge Medina with open air markets); as such, you will be offered numerous products to buy. You should feel no pressure to buy but this may be annoying for some (we didn't mind it). I would recommend this tour to my friends.

Good driver and good guides - Volubilis - the oldest Roman town in Marroco. Was not even included in the trip but the driver took us there Nd paid for entrance fees and for an English guide

Specify you want English driver and guide - Wonderful day trip, guide was very informative. We loved our driver but wished he talked better English so he could give us information about the villages we drove through. I would specify that you want an English speaking driver and guide.

Day trip to Fez from Rabat - I would recommend JD Morocco Tours from Rabat to Fez. The tour guide Fouzia was excellent. The trip with Rachid the driver was interesting and entertaining. We were all given Arabic names. (Mine was Ali Barber) The trip also included a side trip to Meknes. A few suggestions though for the inexperienced Morrocan traveller (like us). We travelled as a family of 5 and were not prepared for tips for the various visits. Take small change (10-20 dirham) and plenty of it. Also ask for an itinerary first. We were unprepared and quite surprised about some of the visits (including a deviation on return to Rabat). A great and fun day was had by all our family, even though it was somewhat quirky!
