- Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain - The tour starts from your hotel in Cusco at 4:00 am in the morning, then our great adventure will start in the direction of the Rainbow Mountain. You will travel by bus for 3 hours in our tourist transport until arriving at the community Cusipata where you will have a delicious breakfast before to continue with the dirt road for 30 minutes more, during the trip, you will be able to observe beautiful landscapes, canyons and beautiful glaciers as The Ausangate.
Once you arrive at the final stop for our van, you will start hiking and After walking for 1.5 hours you will arrive at our destination, Rainbow Mountain Peru (5.020m / 16.466 ft.), Where you will have free time to enjoy the beauty of the mountain, take pictures, enjoy a snack or just relax.
After enjoying the rainbow mountain, you will start the walk back to the parking and to the community of Cusipata where you will have a delicious lunch and then return to the imperial city of Cusco.
Ending our tour, you will return to Cusco where our transportation will take you to the city centre (04:30 pm).

Experience an unforgettable adventure in the high altitudes of Cusco. Visit the acclaimed Rainbow Mountain, stationed at an elevation of 5200 meters, and be astounded by its enchanting hues. We embark on our journey early in the day with a three-hour bus ride to the starting point of our trek. Here, amidst the lofty heights, we relish a light breakfast before setting off on a two-hour hike to this mesmerising mountain.

Fabulous Hike to Vinicunca Montana to view Rainbow Mountain. - Early Pick Up was prompt and met by our Tour Guide Oscar, we then hopped aboard the minibus for the drive to where the hike begun ( Very Skilled Driver on some Rough Roads ). Meals were great on route there and back too.
The Climb up was tough going but was helped with regular stops to catch your breath, but once at the Top, Rainbow Mountain was a Spectacular Sight.
Oscar assisted throughout with his quality guidance and some brilliant photography of my Partner & I.
Was a tiring day but well worth the Early Start and thoroughly recommend this tour group that provide a wonderful experience.

Unforgettable Vinicunca Mountain - Highly recommended! They started early in the morning. Our very friendly guide Oscar and our driver Wilson made the tour a bearable experience. It is worth highlighting its details and respect for the communities near the mountain. Very attentive and helpful. So much so that we decided to book a second excursion with Kantu Peru Tours.

PERFECT DAY - The mountain involves a significant physical challenge, however, there are alternatives for those who want to climb without getting so tired. On the other hand, the guide David was excellent, super attentive and concerned about all the participants and their various needs.

Literally breathtaking view ❤️ - Literally breathtaking view ❤️ because of the high altitude.
And everything was well managed because of our great tour guide David. He really took care of us when we were not feeling well due to high altitude. He would give us drops of jasmine in the palm of our hands to smell and relieve our sickness. He also took good pictures of us.
It is really recommended to have yourself acclimatize in Cusco City at least 1 or 2 days before the trip. He also did an extra mile by lending us some cash since we are short to pay for the horse ride up to the mountain.
The trip was perfect 👌

A memorable Rainbow Mountain Experience - I had a good experience on our way to Rainbow Mountain with David he was a great and good guy who helped us even though were not a pro in hiking and met couple along the way who helped to manage the breathing in going up.. It was a challenging going up but good thing there was a horse option that we can avail along the way which David already brief prior.

Private tour to Inti Punku and Vininuca - Excellent experience, the assistance of Jenkins and Wilmar was punctual and responsible, they made our trip very pleasant and memorable. The Inti Punku ritual was the best 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Great experience - This destination is amazing! Our tour was private. The driver, Wilmar, was very good and very careful. Our guide, Jenkins, was great! Very good in his job, kind and friendly with us, very patient and helpful. Both of them are very good professionals. We did 3 daily tours with Kantu Peru Tours and we are very satisfied! This travel agency is excellent and very well organized in every detail of the trip. Everything was really perfect and we are very thankful!

Highly Recommended!! David (tour guide) at Rainbow Mountain is the way to go! - This is a must-do, one-of-a- kind experience! Our tour guide, David, made sure that all group members were comfortable, ready, and supported before, during, and after the mountain trek. As a solo traveler, one can often feel a bit apprehensive about traveling and doing activities outside of your comfort zone. Nevertheless, David did an amazing job to explain --both in English and Spanish-- how to best experience Rainbow mountain! Can't believe I'm saying it, but I actually wouldn't mind doing this experience again.
