Interesting and fun - Andrew was a great guide. Interesting background and fun experience. He mentioned that he used to include a couple more houses on the tour. I would have been fine the extra time but appreciated his being sensitive to the time.

Raleigh's history provided on a larger platform - Andrew was a great tour guide - provided a lot of historical information about each stop in the tour. It goes well over an hour closer to 1 hour and 40 minutes so make sure you wear comfortable shoes and you have enough water especially if it is warm out.

Great tour featuring Raleigh's interesting history - We recently moved to Raleigh and wanted to learn more about its history. This guided walking tour was a fabulous orientation to Raleigh! Andrew is an engaging and knowledgeable guide who shared so many interesting tidbits about Raleigh's past in his tour. The tour lasted more than 1.5 hours and Andrew was masterful at educating and entertaining the large group all while walking backwards!

Exceeded expectations - The tour I had was really engaging and combined with perfect city views and beautiful rout to take pictures at, and our tour guide Andrew’s knowledgeable and high spirited input it turned out to be a highlight of the day. Only after this tour I will start checking for city tours at other places that I travel to, and this tour will be a golden standard of what I will be looking for. Also I would be gladly checking all of the tours this provider has to offer but unfortunately I didn’t plan to stay that long to be able to do it.

Great experience! - So much fun! Andy was so very knowledgeable and had a genuine interest and so much knowledge of the history of the area. My boyfriend picked his brain on particular parts of NC history and thy had a wonderful and very historically backed conversation on the history of Durham and North Carolina. Would recommend 1.000 times over, amazing way to spend a day in Durham and learn a little something.
