If you are looking for a guided experience of the Marlborough Wine region but also want to do a bit of exploring on your own then our half and half biking wine tour is the tour for you!
Spend a morning on our half day guided biking wine tour. Your knowledgeable and experienced guide will talk to you about the history of the area, its wines and the stories of its people. You will visit three wineries in the morning and then you are free to go at it alone for the afternoon with your bike, a wine map and some helpful pointers from the guide on where to visit.
Peddle along flat, easy terrain that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. All morning winery tasting fees included (3).
Complementary pickup and drop-off from Blenheim and Renwick accodmation. Up to 8 people per guided tour.
E-bikes (electric bikes) are avalible as an upgrade option.

- Minimum drinking age is 18 years - not suitable for persons under 18 years of age.
- If it rains on the day of the tour we will switch to a driving wine tour for the morning at no extra cost and the arrangements for the afternoon biking will be discussed on the day.

If you are driving out to us we will see you at our base at The Vines Village (193 Rapaura Rd) at 9:30am.

A wonderfully relaxed way to visit Marlborough's cellar doors - Had a fabulous day exploring the wines of Marlborough by bike ..
We were well looked after by our guide and by staff at each of the cellar doors.
Cycling along quite roads and tracks between the vineyards is a great way to soak up the atmosphere of Marlborough

A great experience - a super introduction to Marlborough's wine country. - This tour was great. The morning guided section was well structured, with easy cycling along quiet lanes accompanied by knowledgeable commentary. The three vineyards we stopped at for tasting were all super high quality and we were made to feel very welcome. Our guide gave us great tips for lunch (though the best tip is to book a few days in advance) and where to go in the afternoon. The people we met on the trip were all great fun.

Fantastic Day Out - We thoroughly enjoyed our half day wine tour in the Marlborough region with Morris as our guide. Morris gave us some really interesting facts about winemaking in the region and he also shared some of his local knowledge. The wines that we tried were great and the company also kindly allowed us to take the bikes to one more vineyard ourselves before returning to the base in the evening. A great day out and I would highly recommend.

Beautiful ride. - Had a self guided tour, what a fantastic experience. Andy and Graham were both great, very knowledgeable- good suggestion and great banter. Bikes were super cruisy and all the right safety features you need to tour around blenheim. Would highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyable day thanks to our guide Karen - A great day mixing some cycling, wine tasting and good food, made all the better because of Karen our guide. She picked us up from our motel and took us home at the end. More importantly Karen was friendly and very knowledgeable about wine and the Marlborough region. Even if you know about NZ wine I would still recommend this tour. A great day

Fun Day out, Great Service, Great Location - We hired bikes for the afternoon to do a self tour of the beautiful Marlborough wine region and both be able to do some wine tasting at multiple estates. Great to be picked up at our town centre hotel, taken to central area for easy close wine touring by bike and dropped off safely after an enjoyable day sampling wine at multiple estates as part of the package. Friendly good service and advice, good bikes and good location.

A relaxing yet active afternoon of fun. - The staff are enthusiastic and very friendly. We were fitted for our e-bikes and spent the afternoon having fun on the routes and stopping for wine tasting and lunch. The bikes were great and the winery suggestions were well selected.

Great people and great time - Did this for my hens do and was such an awesome time. Andy went the extra mile by dropping us off to Moa brewery after the tour and then picked us up later to go home. There was 10 of us that had never done it before and we all loved it! The wineries were great and good price for tastings.
