Wonderful private guided tour of Ravenna's mosaics - Silvia was a wonderful guide, she gave us an in-depth history of Ravenna and it's place in history. Then she described how each of the sites we visited, with their wonderful mosaics fit into that history. Also she recommended a visit to the city museum after our tour with her (which was included on our access ticket) and pointed out the 2 or 3 things we should look for there. A totally enjoyable afternoon!

Best tour and Guide. - Incredible guide. Chiara knows so much about the history of Ravenna and these UNESCO heritage monuments and the mosaics. This was an incredible tour. We greatly appreciated it being private. This gave us more time to discuss and learn throughout the tours. We highly recommend this tour and Chiara specifically.

Ravenna is a must do!! - Ravenna was a must do in the Emilia-Romagna region. We were treated to a nice tour as our guide was very knowledgeable.
The churches, buildings and mosaics were outstanding. It was a private tour with my 7 family members - and they can accommodate 15 ..... so it was a fair value as well
We did the 10 AM slot and left the rest day - Ravenna is a cool town and good restaurants as well

Passionate and Fun - Sabrina is so passionate and knowledgeable!! She brought the history and to life. We enjoyed spending the afternoon with her. (Plus she's a dog liver like me and assisted me in a purchase).

Ravenna Church has striking mosaics - Ravenna is an historic city in the northeast of the Republic of Italy. It's in Emilia Romagna province. Ancient Ravenna is notable for its ecclesiastical features, including the striking mosaics in the Church of San Vitale. The artistic mosaics in the Church of San Vitale are said to be the most beautiful feature of the City of Paradise. Ravenna is worth exploring on foot by out-of-town-visitors.

Lively time in Ravenna - We had a wonderful morning in Ravenna. Our guide Ciara was lovely and imparted such knowledge and love of her city. The mosaics were beautiful. So glad we went.

Mosaics of Ravenna with Chiara: highly recommended - Chiara was our guide. She contributed greatly to our enjoyment of the tour by explaining with so much expertise the mosaics we were seeing. The mosaics brought tears to my eyes - Sabrina was the most well informed historical tour guide! The mosaics were breath taking, it brought tears to my eyes... the history was amazing. When sunny, more dramatic the colors. We'll request Sabrina when we return.

Racist and rude guide - I went on a school trip to Ravenna and we had a very bad experience with the guide who followed us, extremely racist as we come from southern Italy. From the beginning he had denigrating attitudes and showed hostility towards us, using offensive and scurrilous terminology. I highly recommend an awareness of the millennium we find ourselves in.
