Sky Lagoon - A must go after a long journey to Reykjavik. We went after checking into our hotel. It was so relaxing, the views are spectacular. The staff is friendly and engaging. We took taxi to abs from. 20 min ride from downtown. Do not miss this!

Gave me wrong pick up information, caused an hour delay - I loved being able to have the logistics determined before my visit to Sky Lagoon. Unfortunately, things started off poorly because Marina gave me the wrong pick up location - and, in general, their ticket/instructions lacked any detail. There are several public bus stops tour companies use in Reykjavik and the one a block from my hotel was listed as the pick up location. Notice in their website materials it says they will pick you up from your accommodation? That's not what they print on their private transfer tickets. My hotel was on a street that didn't go all the way through so I assumed there was a change because of that. So, I was waiting and waiting and I called their help team and was told to call another person who chastised me for not being in the correct location. "Correct location" being different than what was on my ticket and I had no way of knowing. I also contacted them via Facebook Messenger and shared a screen capture of my ticket with the bus stop instructions. I have attached a copy of my ticket to verify my claim. I almost missed by Sky Lagoon appointment by the time I got things sorted. The driver had tried to call me and due to some tech issue on my end, it went to VM and didn't ring so I appreciate that effort. My driver was great! I am disappointed that Marina made a significant mistake, provided incorrect information, tried to gas light me by claiming I did something wrong, and never apologized or acknowledged their mistake. That is why I do not recommend them. If you opt to use them, please double check your details in advance to avoid a similar issue. They do logistics as a career. Not printing the correct logistical information on directions for customers is a huge issue.

BEWARE OF WHO YOU BOOK WITH - We booked a private transfer from our hotel to the Sky Lagoon. Pick up was supposed to be at 5:30 and they were late. To make things worse, the driver was unaware that we had prepaid for the transfer both ways. He called his boss, who was very rude to us. They were supposed to pick us back up and take us to our hotel after we called them to say we were ready. We called and they sent us a text message - White Tesla arriving in 10 minutes. We were outside waiting and saw the white Tesla. Shortly thereafter as we were driving back in the car, we receive another text message saying they are at the Sky Lagoon for the pick up. We had no idea that we were in the wrong Tesla, as they had just told us what car to look for and what time. We ended up having to pay the new driver to take us back to the hotel. We feel we were scammed.
