Alright - 3 hour whale watching. There is no pick up or drop off at your hotel so make sure to plan that accordingly. You will need to arrive 30 mins before departure. Check in was easy. Was going to buy a coffee at the harbor house but the man made a face and wasn’t friendly so decided against it. Once boarding the yatcht, you can choose the lower, mid or upper level. All great for views. The guide was great at using the speaker to point out birds, dolphins and whales. However there was about an hour nothing was going on. They could’ve told us some general facts about whales or Iceland to kill time. Free sea sickness pills were offered at the bar which was a huge plus. There’s a bar if you like. Fine for 3 hours but definitely not worth it any longer. We saw minky whales and white billed dolphins, some puffins and other birds. If you have an extra day and no other activities go for it. But definitely a lot more to see in Iceland!

Whale watching cruise was... - Whale watching cruise was really fun! Ship is beautiful. We were able to watch a young humpback for over an hour. We also saw puffins and a minke whale. Ship wasn't crowded and the amount of time was just right.

Recommend! - Great trip on a nice boat. Very doable with our 1 and 3 year olds and they gave us kid life vests on arrival.

We saw couple whales and... - We saw couple whales and few puffins. The weather was not on our side, otherwise the experience was nice. The guide knew what his stuff and I got a sick-pill which helped a lot.

Good tour but no whales today - No whales seen unfortunately but we were given another tour at no extra cost. Nothing they could do about that. The weather was awful too. We’ve done the tour before and saw lots of whales. The boat was warm and clean and the tour was well organized. Good and frequent communication. Hopefully will see them next time

No whales - Nothing. No whales just a kid throwing up on the floor and the mom didn't even attempt to clean it up or tell the crew.

Beautiful scenery but don’t expect to see much - We never saw anything but the trip out on the water was experience enough. It’s really breathtaking to look back on the crystal blue waters to land nearly covered in white. If you can’t handle -17 wind hitting you in the face though I wouldn’t go in March.
