Excellent cetacean watching trip. Lots of birds too! - Excellent trip with staff giving information and highlighting whale sightings so that you did not miss anything. We saw 2 humpback whales at close quarters interacting with white-beaked dolphins and also had sightings of a minke whale.

Amazing trip - We thoroughly enjoyed the whale watching trip. We saw lots of puffins, white beaked dolphins and minke whales. The drivers make sure that they come close enough to the animals to get a good view and we spent a long time with each animal. The marine biologist was knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for an amazing 3 hours.

Absolutely amazing - Our first day was cancelled due to the weather, so we rebooked for the following morning. Team were friendly, boat comfortable. We saw puffins, gannets, dolphins & minke whales. Highlight of out trip. There was someone from the team taking photos as part of studying the whales. They will send you their photos, so you can relax & watch the wildlife rather than worrying about photos.

Whale Watching in Reykjavik - A pretty good tour company operated the vessel that took us out to different areas to get the best positions and visibility of the whales based on their years of experience and extensive knowledge of the area. One has to always be at the ready to capture glimpses of the whales and be quick to take pictures or video. The captain navigates to the best areas which can change depending on time of year but in April 2024 we had some good sightings. Be prepared to get in the right position which can change frequently based on guidance from the crew.

Whale watching but there were no whales - The ship crew were friendly and helpful. They urged us to suit up for the journey, and I'm very glad we did because it was very windy and cold despire being My 20 or thereabouts. We never did see whales, having learned at some point that we were not searching for them at the right time of year. Apparently the whales had gone to warmer waters. My husband think he saw a couple of puffins, but I'm not sure about that. I liked getting a sense of what it was like to be on the almost open ocean off the shore of Iceland. Visiting the harbor is an interesting experience.

A bit boring.... - A bit boring. It would have made it a better experience if we could add a couple of attractions on days that whale sightings are irather infrequent.

Subpar - Saw several whales which was nice. Tour was too long. Everyone lost interest after about 90 minutes. The company however was amazing!!! We were double booked on excursions and we stopped at the ticket office and she was able to change our reservation to a later time.
