Beautiful - I visited the grand master's palace in April with my family and it was truly worth it. Beautiful and really well kept. Compliments!

Only way to buy tickets! - Booking this way avoided the queues. Brilliant. To be honest the grand palace is a bit of a non event. Considering the history of the place the information available was sparse and what there was was boring. A fantastic building that needs to be brought to life by decent info.

Surcharge for comfort access - We took the opportunity to skip the line and booked our ticket in advance. We paid 12 euros and found out at the top that you only pay 8 euros at the counter. The line consisted of 5 people, so you could have queued up. If there are long lines, the fast lane is definitely worth the extra cost. The palace itself is impressive, but unfortunately there are no signs or information that are helpful in terms of the historical background. Thanks to the Internet, you can help yourself, but it's easier. We first spent almost 20 minutes looking for the entrance, which is well hidden behind the ticket offices.
