Highlights
  • Medieval Walls of Rhodes - As we cruise out of Mandraki Old Port, the gateway to Rhodes, we get an incredible view of Rhodes Medieval Walls and surrounding the Old Town and the Castle. Unique photo opportunity!
  • Colossus of Rhodes - The Colossus of Rhodes is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It was a huge statue depicting the sun god. We are passing by the spot where the monument was standing: the port’s entrance!
  • Kallithea Springs - Kallithea is famous for its natural springs, getting there takes 45 minutes and we will stop there for 1 hour. Here, you will be invited to explore and take a refreshing morning swim. Healing, properties of the Springs have long been nown even in ancient times. Reddish water erupting from a rocky formation in the Gulf of Kallithea has attracted people for thousands of years. Italian architect Pietro, Lombardi was entrusted with designing the buildings. Armando Burnaby another eminent Italian architect, undertook the decorative work paying full respect to the natural environment. A year later, fellow Italian Alberto Mocci, a doctor organized, an International hydrological Conference here, which was attended by more than 200 scientists. Visitors, discovered, both physical and mental cleansing in the tranquility of this wonderful setting. Admission from the sea is free and you will certainly have enough time to visit before we set sail for our 2nd stop.
  • Faliraki Beach - On our way back, it takes 1 hour from Anthony Quinn bay to Rhodes port, Mandraki, we will pass by Faliraki Beach. Faliraki is a beautiful coastal town located with its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant nightlife, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Rhodes.
  • Anthony Quinn Bay - Next stop is Anthony Quinn Bay which is completely different than Afandou. It is a small Bay surrounded by high rocks with very deep water getting there from Afandou takes 15 minutes. We will spend 1 hour In this bay, there are thousands of small fish and you are invited to use the complimentary snorkeling gear, which is at your disposal on the boat. You may also wish to throw bread at the fish that will congregate near by to eat. So far, no fish has ever eaten any of our guests. Not a single bite. The bay is named after the famous Mexican actor, who starred in the International Blockbuster film, Cannons of Navarone in the 1960s. When Quinn came to Rhodes to shoot the film, he was blown away by the beautiful Bay and asked the Greek state If he could buy it. An agreement was never carried through however and after years of controversy, the Court ruled that it was unenforceable. Despite this, the locals name the beach Anthony Quinn in his honor.
  • Ladiko Beach - We cruise past Ladiko bay. The word “Ladi” (mean. oil) is the container you use to place or store Oil. The beautiful beach got this name because it was a commercial point for loading and unloading olive oil. For the commercial cargo ships of the time, this particular point was the commercial station for transactions with the oil producers of the region as they loaded their cargoes destined for Egypt and the Middle East. Local fishermen have found around the area of Ladikos several clay containers that come from shipwrecks that traded in that area. It is located right behind Anthony Quinn surrounded by caves. The picturesque bay of Ladikos is now a busy beach that is part of several boat tours and also for several underwater activities that take place in the area.
  • Afandou Beach - AFANTOU is famous for it’s huge beach with crystal clear waters, which is about 6 km long consisting of Pebbles and for its huge Golf Course, getting there from Kallithea takes 45 minutes and we will spend 1 hour and 15 minutes. The Pebbles from here have been used in the construction of the sidewalks of the Old Town of Roads, the area around AFANTOU, has many monuments tombs and Temple foundations. The coastal settlement here was attacked and destroyed three times by pirates in 620, by the Persians in 653, by Arabs and in 807 by the Turks. After these attacks, the inhabitants left the coastal settlements that were visible to the attackers, and moved a little in land behind the Rocks, where the settlement is located today and which cannot be seen from the sea. The name, AFANTOU comes from the word, Afandou, which in Greek means invisible. You will have over an hour to explore the area and the caves before we will be pleased to open the lunch, buffet back on board.

Amazing day , amazing team, wonderful memories made. - Stef booked us on the tour the day prior and coordinated travel to and from our hotel which was efficient and great. She was unbelievably friendly and made our day. The boat day was our favourite day of the holiday. The food and wine was delicious, the stops were breathtaking and I have never swam in clearer seas. The atmosphere on the boat was hard to beat and we came home so grateful that we chose this tour compared to the many others available so you should book it too if you are reading this! Precious memories, thank you Stef❤️

Very nice. Would recommend. - My loves, if you are reading this, please be convinced this experience is worth it. We went on the 10AM-16PM cruise. The boat is well equipped with sunbeds and comfortable chairs to relax during the trip. Moreover, the crew is super friendly and the music throughout the trip was great. Benia delivered on her promise! Instead of booking online, go directly to her at the Mandraki harbor to book your seats on the cruise, you will save some money! The day we went on the cruise the waves were a bit strong, so instead of reaching Afandou the crew decided to stay some more hours in Anthony Quinn Bay - smooth plan B, safer, and very enjoyable still. The only thing which was maybe not completely living up to the expectations was the food - nice Greek sauces, fresh salads, chicken and pasta, but a bit basic. Overall this remains a side note, because getting food directly on the boat was a nice experience! And something which makes this cruise stand out compared to the competitors (for a price not higher at all!). Very decent and fair price-quality relationship. Make sure you include it in your visit to Rhodes!

Revelation! - The cruise was amazing, everything was great, the food was delicious and the views were amazing 🤩 We had great weather, beautiful water, swimming in the sea and views underwater - something amazing. Swimming equipment for everyone. A nice option is that you can rent a jet ski while stopping at Afandou. The ship's captain and the rest of the team are very nice and open. The music on the ship created such an atmosphere that we will remember this trip for the rest of our lives 🔥 Nothing to add, nothing to take away, amazing!

Well worth doing! - Fantastic, relaxing day out! I’ve done a few boat trips over the years and mostly they fall short of how they are sold to you. This was exactly as described! Lovely boat, fantastic food and a great crew

Nice scenery - Lovely boat and scenery at each location. Boat stopped for swim stops at each location which we knew about however, we did not know that the boat would not dock at each location meaning we was stuck on the boat and not able to visit the places advertised which we was very disappointed about.
