Great introduction to the city of Richmond! - The tour guide was wonderful in sharing his excitement about the city of Richmond and his knowledge about its history. He was knowledgeable about the city and was very engaging with the participants. The tour covered much of the downtown of the city and made suggestions for what else to do in the city

A new appreciation for Richmond - Melissa, our tour guide, as guided tours for years and was extremely well informed about Richmond history. As we rolled through neighbors she disussed the origins of each and described the architecture in detail--but not too much! She gave thorough answers to all questions and often had historical anecdotes to tell. Myself and my 24 YO grandson both rated this tour excellent. We had never been to Richmond and after the tour we'd like to come back. But yes, the wooden seats are hard.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Richmond, VA - This historic Downtown Richmond tour with RVA Trolley was my Father's Day gift to my dad. Our family prioritizes gifting experiences over physical items. The tour was outstanding and highly recommended! The guide was very knowledgable and endearing. My favorite thing that I learned on the tour was how Richmond got it's name! My only complaint is that the tour did not offer any built in breaks for guests to stand and stretch their legs. The seats were uncomfortable, and the trolley was hot (as it is the middle of summer in Virginia). I noticed that it wasn't only myself and my husband who were wiggling around in our seats. After an hour or so, I noticed that many of the guests seemed uncomfortable. A planned break in the middle of the tour would have offered guests an opportunity to get out and see the landmarks up close and alleviate some pain associated with sitting on wooden seats for too long.

No air conditioning - Lots of great information and history. Great ride however there was NO air conditioning. False advertising and they should have been transparent. Was too hot and uncomfortable to enjoy the experience. Would be much better during cooler weather.

Good tour/uncomfortable ride - While Melissa did an excellent job narrating the tour with her knowledge of Richmond and the history of many of the sites, the trolly itself was very uncomfortable, especially going over all the cobblestone streets. The wooden seats were very hard, and too close together. Fortunately the tour wasn’t very crowded and we were able to spread out
